A large tower consisting of only one room, the owlery is always a bit chilly because none of the windows have any glass in them. The floor is covered in straw, the remains of unlucky rodents and owl droppings. It generally unpleasant, but if one wants to send someone an owl, it is the place to go.
To leave a character a note, please write up a little blurb about your character entering and then, in a separate post in document style, please post your note and/or parcel.

The walk up the pathways and corridors to the owlery from the lake was fairly uneventful, though several squeezes to her hand, brushing her thumb over Nyx's skin and walking in just the way that their sides would brush and press against one another competing for the same space kept Isis tinged slightly red and with a smile on her face.
"Well...here we are. Let me go find Shawna while you put together that note." Isis said cheerily, tiptoeing to peck the other girl lightly on the cheek as she went on a search. Coming back a few minutes later with a tiny yet beautiful owl, brown with white spots patterning her feathers, face all white with piercing golden eyes. The girl's ebony locks streamed about her as she stroked the head of her little friend with a delicate finger, soft coos floating from her lips as she stroked the birds feathers, giggling when Shawna gave out a tiny little hoot of happiness.
"Nyx, this is Shawna. Shawna, meet Nyx." Isis giggled again smiling, looking up and holding the tiny owl out to look at the girl which had been presented to her.

Nyx grinned shyly, her cheeks tinting a light crimson with the tiny kiss. The entire walk was full of things like that, so small that sometimes she didn't notice them. The stuff she did notice, however, was comforting and shocking at the same time. Like an earthquake to her systems. She dug through her bag for a moment before pulling out a piece of paper and a quill, whilst waiting for Isis to return with her bird.
"Shawna, aye?" The tall Gryffindor asked with a grin. The objects she had been hunting for were placed in one hand, and she held the other out for the little creature to settle on. "Sure's a pret'ty little thang... Hey there," She said softly. "C'mere? I won' hurt yeh."
The creature was small enough to fit in one of her large hands. It's yellow eyes only seemed a few shades off of Isis' honey golden.

Isis beamed happily, watching as Shawna settled on the Gryffindors arm with a tiny hoot, stilling and eyeing the piece of paper in the girls free hand. "I think she's willing to take your letter, if you want her too." Isis giggled quietly, light carefree voice happy that Shawna had taken to Nyx so well. Then again, Shawna wasnt only beautiful, but a strong and kind little bird, with owl wisdom beyond measure. Sometimes it almost made Isis wonder if that bird could finish and explain her homework to her.
Isis watched the two interact with a soft smile, arms folded in front of her relaxedly, giving her a moment while Nyx wasnt paying attention to simply admire the girl before her, taking in every detail and feeling her heart skip beats whenever it seemed like the Gryffindor would look her way.

"Naw... M' parents wouln't recognize her and Paige'd feel left out. Ya'know?" Nyx lifted the bird up onto her shoulder and sat down at the table provided in the center of the tower, writing out a letter with surprisingly gorgeous handwriting. With the opposite hand, she reached up to stroke the little owl's soft feathers.
Nyx was far too focused on her letter writing to notice Isis' wanderings over her body. Somehow, with out even knowing it she had assumed a position that dared a hint of her hip. She crossed her legs out of habit from her mother, moving fabric aside to show how long they were. Really, if Nyx had tried she could look absolutely, gorgeously femanine.
Of course, she didn't.
After a few moments, when she was finished writing her letter, Nyx stood up and let out a whistle. It rattled some of the birds, but only one jumped up and swooped down to her. Nyx reached her arm out to intercept the large white and brown owl. Paige settled on her arm with an affectionate hoot.
"This 'ere is Paige." She introduced the bird whilst stroking her beak. "Paige, this's Isis." Nyx pointed at the other girl, and the other animal's large brown eyes followed.
"Hoot?"

Isis gulped quietly, eyes immediately locking onto the hint of the other girls paler skin. It looked so soft, so smooth...Isis imagined herself stepping closer, modeling into the taller girls perfect form and running a hand along that thigh as her lips leaned in to whisper and n** at the gryffindors ear...
The whistle instantly snapped Isis out of her daydream with a small squeek of surprise. She had never known someone to train an owl to come to a whistle. "She's beautiful Nyx..." Isis said, stepping a little closer to delicately run her hand along the owl's wingfeathers gently with a kind smile, her other hand falling and brushing against Nyx's innocently. "Hello Paige, it's nice to meet you too."

"Hoot!" Paige puffed out her chest and tilted her head to the side. It's general stance made her seem pleased, along with the little smile in her eyes. Nyx laughed, petting her owl's head and nuzzling into her feathers.
"My mum got'er fer me. 'ad her since she was reeaal tiny. I'm thinken she likes you." Nyx stretched her arm out and smiled sweetly at the bird.
"Yeh take a letter to mum an' pop fer me, girly?" The Gryffindor held the letter out, which Paige took with an air of duty into her right claw. "Thank yeh sweet 'art. Fly safe."
Nyx took them to the window, giving Paige a boost on her long flight.

Isis couldnt help but giggle at the large bird; she was adorable! Beautiful and strong yet adorable...sounded alot like her owner. Isis allowed a gentle blush to grace her features, fairly lost among her dark skin. Quietly she reached up and took Shawna on a wrist, allowing Paige a strong sendoff from her owner.
"So...what happens next?" Isis said softly once paige had taken flight. Her fingers stroked Shawna's beak gently, eyes following the other bird with her eyes as she flew out of sight.
She found herself once again drawn in, looking for any reason to stay by this girls side. Sure they were just "friends," but friends gave each other hugs and friendly kisses right? perhaps she could not only steal a few of her own, but maybe, just maybe Nyx would "steal" something from her.
Hey, a girl's allowed to hope right?

Nyx ran a hand over her hair, missing her hat for a moment. Though... Perhaps it would be a good thing to go with out it for a while. The tall Gryffindor smiled off at her bird, then turned to grin at Isis in her constant charming fasion.
"Teh tell ya' theh truth, I'm actually a bit hungry... Din't get a chance to eat 'nything this morning." She took Isis' free hand in hers and blushed sheepishly. "Would yeh come teh the hall with me?"

Isis gasped softly as she felt warmth of skin against her own, instinctively lacing her fingers with the other girls and stepping closer to press ever so slightly into the girls side with a soft blush. "You should have eaten something Nyx!" Isis admonished quietly, though there was very little bite to her remark. "B-but...alright...I'll come to the hall with you..." Isis murmured quietly with a soft smile, hidden by the hair shading her face.
She wasnt seperating from this girl for as long as she had to.
