Okay, this is like the end-all-be-all conspiracy thread. stare Possible spoilers..? How did Nerevar die? What really happened between the Tribunal and Dagoth Voryn beneath Red Mountain? How did Dagoth Voryn go insane? What's the true meaning behind the Sermons of Vivec: Lesson Five? Why did the Tribunal do what they did and break their oath to Nerevar? How much does the Nerevarine remember from the past life? Are the people in the Cavern of the Incarnate other incarnations of the Nerevarine? Did Vivec leave those hidden messages in the Sermons of Vivec? What is the role of the 0th Sermon? eek ((For all those Morrowind conspiracy theorists out there, The Imperial Library and The Theoretical Whirling School of Vivec are both excellent sources.))

Well now...I can probably answer a few of those. sweatdrop Vivec, Almalexia and Sotha Sil had some agents go assassinate him. I guess he was overpowerful and they didn't want him to live any longer to spoil anything of theirs. Then they covered it up and became what Azura calls, the "False Gods" of the Tribunal.Tahpenes What really happened between the Tribunal and Dagoth Voryn beneath Red Mountain? Not too sure who you mean by Dagoth Voryn...but I do know that Azura told them not to use Kagrenac's tools, and they swore an oath not to. But they did anyway and lost Azura's faith in them. But yet, Vivec makes you use the tools to kill Dagoth Ur in the endgame. I wish I could've used Goldbrand to kill him and not dishonor Azura, but you know, it's how you're supposed to finish the game.
But I think Nerevar was the one who really did all the work.Tahpenes How did Dagoth Voryn go insane? He became hungry for power and then eventually started to use Kagrenac's Tools to build the Heart of Lorkhan to rule the world.Tahpenes What's the true meaning behind the Sermons of Vivec: Lesson Five? I'm not reading my sermons until I have all 36 (or 37 if I find this...0th one eek )...so I wouldn't know that yet. sweatdrop Tahpenes Why did the Tribunal do what they did and break their oath to Nerevar? So that they could rise to power with him out of the way to become the "False Gods". 3nodding Tahpenes How much does the Nerevarine remember from the past life? Probably not much. sweatdrop Tahpenes Are the people in the Cavern of the Incarnate other incarnations of the Nerevarine? Possibly. They say they weren't right. But maybe they were yet the time wasn't right to fulfill the prophecies, until you character comes around at the right time. 3nodding Tahpenes Did Vivec leave those hidden messages in the Sermons of Vivec? Again I don't know. sweatdrop Tahpenes What is the role of the 0th Sermon? Um...I dunno but do you know where it is so I can find it? xd xd xd

Taylor_Highwind Tahpenes What is the role of the 0th Sermon? Um...I dunno but do you know where it is so I can find it? xd xd xd The Whirling School of Vivec has the 0th Sermon and the hidden messages available, I know for certain. Taylor_Highwind Vivec, Almalexia and Sotha Sil had some agents go assassinate him. That's actually a theory I hadn't heard before. What makes you think they used agents? Taylor_Highwind Not too sure who you mean by Dagoth Voryn... Voryn was his name before he became known as Dagoth Ur. I think he began to be known as Dagoth Ur after he had fought with the Tribunal and they used the tools on the Heart. Taylor_Highwind So that they could rise to power with him out of the way to become the "False Gods". 3nodding Nerevar really did have sucky taste in companions, huh? sweatdrop I always wondered if maybe he had a little love affair on the side or something and that upset Almalexia and Vivec. It's such a huge betrayal, it's hard to fathom any reason for it.

Vivec told me so. 3nodding Tahpenes Voryn was his name before he became known as Dagoth Ur. I think he began to be known as Dagoth Ur after he had fought with the Tribunal and they used the tools on the Heart. Right. That's what I thought. 3nodding Tahpenes Nerevar really did have sucky taste in companions, huh? I always wondered if maybe he had a little love affair on the side or something and that upset Almalexia and Vivec. It's such a huge betrayal, it's hard to fathom any reason for it. Perhaps...Maybe he did...or maybe he did something that they didn't like or whatever. Vivec tried to deny he had Nerevar killed but I KNOW he's behind it. 3nodding

Taylor_Highwind Um...I'm very confused, can you just tell me where it's at? sweatdrop I think I see the source of the confusion. The 0th Sermon is not actually available in the game; during and soon after the release of the game, members of the development team were active on a Morrowind message board, calling themselves "Vivec," "Jobasha," and a few other names. "Jobasha" released this 0th Sermon, which he discovered to be a hidden text. It's not available in the game, but it is considered to be canon. It's available through the link I posted above; scroll down on the page until you see, "Sermon Zero" and "The Sermon Zero Affair." Immediately below both of those on the website are the "Hidden Words" which are found in Vivec's Sermons.

the evets of the game took place in the END of THIRD era, and tho ones discussed take plae in 3E417.
the Begining of he First era goes like this
1E1:
Camoran Dynasty of Valenwood is founded by King Eplear. This is the first written record in the Tamrielic Timeline. This new kingdom is later used as a buffer by the older kingdom of Ayleids (Wild Elves) of White Gold Tower in the Cyrodiil heartland, from the influence of stronger kingdom of Alinor (Summurset Isle). In time, the Ayleids become more independent and the White Gold Tower eventually rises as a new independent city-state.
