This is the section in which the Lycans will gather their forces against the vampire's and muster strategies. This is their den and, hopefully it will gain some magnitude in order to stand up to the Death Dealers.

Setting

Set in the dank and musty under city, this den is a solid and sturdy den that is rich with lycan history. It was occupied by the Lycans after the revolution from the vampire race. This is where Lucian plans to recruit the Hybrid for his side of the war.

There are numerous building surrounding this den used for torture and scientific research. But the main conflict and strategising happens in the den itself.

Shane "Sabre" Doncado made a visit to one of the interchambers of the den to sharpen his beloved blade. Using firearms did not bring the same pleasure to Shane's twisted heart as his claws, teeth, and his sabre. He began to get to work as his mind slipped into thoughts of the past battles he had won with the aide of his blade.

Shane has been dying to take a few of his brethren out for a night on the town to cause what mayhem they could. Maybe even add a few more souls to their ranks, but Lucian would not take the chances of blowing his plans. However, there were times when he ventured out for his meetings which allowed a few precious hours outside the den. Hours that Shane could use to draw out a few bloods to kill.

Raze's heavy steps seemed manified as he walked toward one of the den's interchambers. He had been told that he could find the Sabre within. Lucian was aware that Sabre with growing more spirited by the day, wanting to hunt for souls to become apart of the lycans ranks. This behaviour would be far to costly to the lycans at this point, likey to draw unwanted attention for the bloods.

It had been an easy decision then to allow Sabre to accompany Raze and Trix on the affairs that awaited them this night. All the lycans within the den were aware of Lucian's great plans, although only the strongest were sent to do what was required to see that the plans come to fruition. On this night they were to find and capture the human known as Michael Corvin.

The burly black lycan came to a stop before his kin. "Lucian wants you on the hunt" his deep voice intoned, his dark eyes fixing on the seated lycan.

Shane heard Raze coming before he entered the room. Maybe it would be news that he was going to get a scolding by Lucian for his most recent exploits. Without specific oders, Shane would find ways to bend the rules as he always had.

Raze was in front of him and said his lot. Shane's blue eyes moved to meet Raze's, but he stayed seated as he continued sharpening his blade. His pale skin only shown on his face and on the few parts of his upper body that were not covered in his tattoos. "When do we leave?" Shane asked as he knew that Raze would be coming too.

"Lucian wants use gone within the hour" Raze replied, his already deep voice seeming to drop a few octives as he spoke with Sabre. Sabre had proven to be particular trouble for Lucian, holding little respect for the long established rules of the den.

Raze with loathe to take the other lycan along, knowing that it would have been simply enough for Trix and himself to perform. The only reason that Sabre was to accompany them was because Lucian believed that it would serve to curb his deviant streak.

After Raze replied, Shane finished his task and pocketed the materials and sheathed his sabre. His eyes never left Raze as he stood up, "I shall prepare and meet you at the shaft." Shane walked around the table that he was working at then stood at Raze's side for a moment to nod his head, and then he left Raze alone.

Shane knew he would have a little release this night, then he could settle for a while. Maybe. He went to his chamber to put away his supplies and holstered twin pistols to his jacket as he put it on. He was ready and started to make his way to the shaft for departure.

Raze had remained in the antechamber for several minutes longer then Sabre, before he too turned and leaved. Making his way toward his own chamber. Removing his brown windbreaker from one of the many sections of pipe that jutted from the wall, he slipped into it. No sooner had the jacket settled into place before his was slipping several pistols into the holsters that drapped his broad frame.

With a final tug upon the jacket to ensure that all his weapons were hidden, he headed toward the shaft that extended to the surface. Trix, he assumed, would be meeting them there.

Shane was at the shaft before Raze, or possibly Trix, but Shane packed less weaponry and just added more clips to the inside of his jacket. He stood there silently, waiting for the others to show up to let the hunt begin.

Raze walking in stone silence toward the shaft, blanently ignoring the glances the other lycans cast his way. Trix joined him part way toward the shaft, and was acknowledge with a brief nod. Judging from the smaller lycan's frame and size, it was hard to imagine that Trix possessed the strength of a lycan. It wasn't long before both lycans caught sight of Shane, although they didn't quicken their pace. "Ready?" Raze's deep voice cut through the stillness and silence of this section of the den.

Shane looked up at Raze and casted a short glace at the smaller Lycan Trix before turning his eyes back to Raze. "That is why I'm here," he replied in a cool and calm tone of voice that reflected the opposite of the emotions stirring within. Shane could not wait to tear into someone, he almost needed to just to relax again. His task came first, however, and he was prepared to do it to the best of his ability.

Raze hardly appreciated the attitude that was being directed at him, although one could not tell that simply by looking at him. Even the most trained of observers could easily have missed the minute change caused by the clenching of his teeth. Raze was still displeased with having to take the other lycan along, but Lucian had ordered it and thus Raze would abide.

With a slight nod Raze walked past Shane, Trix in toe. It wasn't far to where they needed to go, so they required no transport other then their own two feet.

Shane followed in behind Trix and kept the silence. Raze was a lycan of few words, and Shane would not say anything that would anger him too soon as he could always save his thoughts for later. 'This is going to be fun,' Shane thought as he followed behind the other two lycans. It did not matter where they went as long as the job was done and Shane could taste some flesh.

Raze continued up the shaft in heavy silence, still glowering at Lucian's decision. As they neared the shaft's, Raze paused. Lifting his head slightly, he sniffed the air, ensuring that it was clear on the other side. The smell of the rain was all that tickled his nose, and with that he pressed on out into the rain. It was only a short walk from here to the apartment of Michael Corvin.

Fishing into his jacket pocket he pulled out a rather tattered looking photograpgh, handing it to Shane. "This is the target" Raze informed Shane. "Lucian has instructed us to bring him back alive" Raze continued, greatly emphasising the last word of his sentence.

Shane liked the way the rain felt upon his exposed flesh, it made him feel more alive. His eyes stayed on Raze as they made their way toward their destination of Michael Corvin's apartment. Shane eyes lazily looked at the photograph of their target as he held it in his own hand. In his mind, Shane repeated Raze's last word and gave him a wink. "No worries," he assured Raze in his simple manner.
