Come on...theres got to be some kind of banner you can get...the one you currently have is...well...it makes you look like a 'second thought' guild. LIke you didn't spend time on it. I think you could get an avy art person to make one or just get a picture of a whole bunch of herbs...we just need a banner

I rather like the frontpage image and I think it's cute and suiting. It matches the font color and the guild's purpose. It adds to the page instead of taking away. Anyway, if someone is truly interested in joining a guild, they're not going to base their decision on an image.

Besides, there are much worse homepages out there.
Although, different signature banners couldn't hurt, or even a mini one that is seen when searching for guilds in the GGR - or is that the kind of banner you were talking about?

First of all, it is Aiden! Second, shamaness has teh idea! I don't mean just random banners, i mean one for when u guild search. Our just says Gaia Guild Network or something. If we could get one it would make the outside of the guild look a little more inviting...

O.o She made a mistake. No need to get rude about it. Anyway, to be fair you were not exactly clear on what banner you were talking about. Considering the mini-banner is the default and no one here 'spent time on it', you were a little confusing.
It shouldn't be that hard to make a mini-banner for this guild. If I rememeber correctly, the size is 200x40 pixels. You don't want to go any higher then that, because it can get really annoying when you're searching through the GGN.
If I get a chance, I can see about making a couple, and if Kyoki agrees/likes them, she can use them. Of course, it would be nice if others contributed too. I'm thinking of using reds and greens to match the homepage.

Please, feel free to make anything you like. ^_^ I always love getting anything new here, and never think that I'm the only person who can offer updates to anything. If you want to make new banners, create an entry for the Herb of the Week thread, add anything to any of our lists- please, feel free! This is a co-op type thread and I, by no means, am the only person allowed to add things.
Aiden, I'm sorry for misspelling your name. I was (and usually am) in a hurry when I'm making posts or updating things in here, as I can only get online away from home. I sometimes have less than ten minutes to take care of my guilds and my threads, and so mistakes are made. I apologize.
That being said, please do at least try to be understanding. I fully understand how annoying it is when someone misspells a name or some similar thing, but at the same time, it is only a minor mistake.

oo, he means such a small thingy. You see those banners when you go your subscribed guilds. The picture right next to the name.
I think their pretty hard to make. Although, more thinking about the larger banners, if I can get FireWorks working again, I'll see if I can make some banners for the guild.
Not sure if you have to upload the banners to your own photobucket or something, but showing the used code under each banner would be easy (considering you use the same link, instead of uploading it to your own imagehost)

I'm far from artistically inclined. XD If anyone wants to make banners, I'm up for that, but don't look to me for anything more than strange scribblings that are -supposed- to be animals.

yay! nice banner!
i've been stalking google images looking for suitable pics to shrink(i don't know anything about graphics) but i'd had no lucky so far, the 200x40 shape is trully limiting!
so good that someone's made a proper one xd i saw that pestle and mortar image several times too and thought it would be ideal, i'm glad someone else has the skills and knowledge to come up with the goods biggrin
