As of this moment I have locked one topic on this subject there is too much flaming going on. If it continues I will lock more topics. If you wish to continue discussing this you will do it politely and respectfully.

I am sorry this sticky caused some confusion. I put it up to stop members flaming other less informed members

DBAF by Akira Toriyama does not exist.

DBAF in the form of fanfics and/or Dounshini does exist but they are not sanctioned by Toriyama-san.
Some are very well done and look real, so new fans or less well informed ones can be deceived.
Especially if they want to believe it badly enough.
But as much as we might want or wish for it, at the moment Toriyama does not have any plans to continue the adventures of the Saiyan's.

Again I am sorry for the misunderstanding.

It's a rumor spread from a April fools prank which has still today fooled many. Akira Toriyama's work end at DBZ although he did input some work in GT. He stated himself that there isn't going to be more. But really, if GT sucked a**, what makes fans think AF would be better. Then, i searced on Youtube for DBAF or DBAF episodes and none appeared. Only fan made video game edits in there own silly animations. If DBAF was real don't you think the news would of already spread by now? C'mon people we're in the 21st Century. If it were real, someone should of been able to upload or take a screenshot of at least one episode, right? But there isn't.

then, there's the eye killing pictures. Dupped fans proclaim some funny looking pictures to be officially from DBAF when they're simply edits. Like the all time favorite: burning_eyes burning_eyes burning_eyes

AF does not exist. The ONLY semi believable rumor i heard was that it was a movie that shows Kid Vegeta and Kid Goku fighting in the world martial arts Tournement and Pan is a great great grandmother which, as we should all know is just a description of episode 68 of Dragonball GT

Well even if it were real, I highly doubt it would have a large fanbase. Have you seen a list of the projected episodes for the series? A lot of it was really stupid, not to mention that everyone and their mother goes SSJ in the series. rolleyes

The creations of such stages as SSJ 5 (which I believe is what that picture of Goku is above) was ludicrous and seriously did not fit the storyline too well. So in the end, AF was just basically a fanfiction gone wild. 3nodding
