I decided to start a new topic for everyone to post their favorite recipes. I love to try new dishes as long as they are easy to prepare.
I am gonna start this off with one of my favorites dishes that I make. Friends and family always request that I make this whenever we have a get together that requires everyone bring a covered dish.

My famous Tuna Macaroni and cheese casserole
3 cans of chunk light tuna in oil 1 box Kraft macaroni and cheese deluxe 1 envelope Lipton onion soup mix (not the cup a soup version) 1 can Campbells cream of chicken soup mix 30 green olives with the pimento 6 to 7 oz Ruffles potato chips finely shredded cheddar cheese
Prepare the macaroni and cheese deluxe according the the package. Leave the macaroni al dente. While the water is boiling for the mac & cheese, do the following:
Drain the chunk light tuna and put in a big bowl, mix the tuna with the onion soup mix. After it is thoroughly mixed, add the cream of chicken soup and mix it well. Add the olives along with a little bit of olive juice. Then add the ruffles. Crunch them up finely and mix thoroughly.
After the mac & cheese is ready add to the tuna mixture and mix everything together.
Put the mixture in a casserole dish and bake at 350 degrees for about 30 minutes or until the top is a little brown, sprinkle the cheddar cheese over the top until it is fully covered and bake until the cheese is melted.
Serves about 4 to 6 people

Bump. Waiting on recipes. If I can get my husband to give me his recipe for his chili, I will put it up here. Everyone loves it and it is nice and thick, not soupy.

Combine onions, vegetables, mushrooms and the seasonings for the vegetables in an electric skillet and mix thoroughly. Cover and simmer at 225 degrees for 1 hr 45 minutes, stirring occasionally to prevent sticking. When vegetables are done, take out of skillet and put into a large pan and set it aside.
Put the meat and the seasonings for the meat into the skillet and set to 225 degrees. Simmer uncovered for approx 15 minutes (do not overcook meat).
Add the meat to the vegetables in the pan and add the gravy. Mix thoroughly and put it on the stove under simmer stirring occasionally.
Boil water for the noodles and cook until the noodles are done to your liking. Drain and add noodles to the meat mixture and mix thoroughly until everything is heated through.
Serves 6
