So many of you here have been fans of our favorite plumber from the Mushroom Kingdom, recently good ol' Mario leapt onto the Nintendo DS
Now some of you might be saying "why silver, what can you say that hasn't already been said a thousand times about this game?"
The anwer:not much neutral
Let's start off with a brief peek at the story
Mario is enjoying the life of being the most loved person in the Mushroom Kingdom, when one day the unthinkable predicatable something happens.
Peach is kidnapped!
So as our intrepid hero, you must journey through eight worlds filled with goombas, koopas and pirahna plants galore.
What can you expect from Mario's latest romp?
Well as always, Mario is back with his old jump and fireball throwing moves; only this time, he's got some new tricks.
Triple jumping which had first been introduced in Mario 64 has made another triumphant return
Wall sliding has also come over to the DS and is incorporated into several levels as either a means of getting around easier or finding a short cut
What about level design and difficulty?
Levels are fun and challenging, while not being too rough on a player(although I felt some parts were too easy). The level designs are fun and offer different challenges in each level.
What about us long time fans?
It may have been polished with a 3-d look, but New Super Mario Bros. has a distinct feeling of nostalgia for those of you who have been playing SMB for years
What about us long time fans?[i mad y4mcwmd:7]All things considered[i/].....
New Super Mario Bros. is a friendly platformer with some nice touches, new items, and moves while still retaining it's same old feel.
Final Rating: 9.5 out of 10

I think it's gonna end up ok. However, platformers tend to lose my interest after stomping about 20 billion Goombas into the ground.
