Anyone else heard of Bound Together, the EarthBound remix project? I found out about it from the EB forums on GameFAQs. I haven't had a chance to listen to all the songs yet, but so far I'm liking what I hear! It's a free download. NOTE: I'm not trying to advertise for the compilation, just trying to get a discussion started about it. If I need to take the link out, let me know.

Actually, i've downloaded it, and i know fora fact that Zentatzu burned it onto twodiscs ( since it doesn't fit on justone!). It's great, but i've played myself out of it. Iworeit out on my head, so i'm sure bythe time Mother 3 arrives here, (or i import it) i'll be loving that soundtrack( as i love calling it)again.

Oh man. I feel so stupid. I was trying to get the lyrics for "Home Again", then I found out they're actually the lyrics for the first stanza of "Pollyanna", which was music from Mother 1/EB0. And then I found this.

I didn't even realize that they had the original Mother soundtrack. Stupid moment, since i'd constantly saw the auctions for that on Starmen.

I downloaded the remixes and listened to them. They were pretty nice. That "Da Black Market" one freaked me out, though. Swearing just doesn't go well with EarthBound. xD

Nebulous Skye I downloaded the remixes and listened to them. They were pretty nice. That "Da Black Market" one freaked me out, though. Swearing just doesn't go well with EarthBound. xD I have to admit, the juxtaposition was hilarious, though. And just imagine the Ness part of that used as the BGM for a Ness-in-Smash-Brothers video...

UPDATE! I've been in touch with JoeCam (the guy who organized the Bound Together project). He let me know in an e-mail today that he's working on a second remix project right now, and waiting on the remix of Saturn Valley - the remix of Giygas' theme is already done.

It also had a remix of my favourite Earthbound music EVER "Coffee Break"
I swear, I love that song, and the coffee scene that goes with it..
DAMN IT >.<

Well, no Wisdom of the World remix - this one's going to fill in some gaps from Mother 2 remixes, though. But that's the bad news. The good news?

If you have the right download manager, and the mirror allows for resuming, then I think you'll be fine. You'll need about 7 uninterupted one hour periods to download it if you get some way to resume the download, so I don't think getting Bound Together on a 56kb modem would be too hard.
