The rules for the forum are to be adhered to at all times! They are: -

1. NO BUMPING. First and foremost bumping is NOT TOLERATED AT ALL! If you do bump, a PM shall be issued enquiring as to why you did bump, further leading to a ban from the guild IF the incident cannot be explained to a satisfactory degree.

2. NO INVECTIVES AGAINST OTHER PEOPLE'S WORK. This is not constructive, and certainly has no place in a literary community that is open to appreciate other people's work. Please, if you must swear, restrain all invectives to the phrases "...Oh bloody 'ell..." and "...well bugger me...". Consistent hardcore swearing will immediately result in a ban.

3. NO PLAGIARISM. This is not tolerated. It is not clever, nor is it original. UNLESS there is a good reason to use someone else's work in a post followed up by a personal comment, plagiarism claims will be taken seriously. And then followed up.
Quotes are accepted, though must CLEARLY stated the person quoted from.

4. NO CREATING COLLOQUIAL TOPICS UNLESS THEY ARE POEMS / PROSE FOR RATING. Mainly, that is. Major topics such as deep discussions / major new stories CAN be posted, although, any other topics SHOULD be confined to general conversation. This makes things easier for the moderators, and prevents the guild from becoming cluttered.

5. NO INCRYPTION. Anyone caught sending incrypted messages through their posts shall immediately be put to trial before the moderators to explain their actions. However, incryption IS ALLOWED in the General Conversation thread, to achieve a greater dexterity. Moderators, however, MAY use incryption to pass on thread messages.

6. PROPER ENGLISH, PLEASE!! This goes without saying, but no text language and no messenger language. Please try to phrase your replies to a decent standard - this goes without saying; hence, a literary guild!

~A NOTE ABOUT TOPICS~

Poems and prose are always allowed to be posted as topics in order for us to give comments and feedback. If you require an OFFICIAL RATING for a poem (I am reluctant to do this UNLESS you specially request) please post in the Official Ratings Stickies. This will pompt me or any other moderators to use the official GLEA evaluation form. When you do post in the Official Ratings Stickies, please remember to title your work in order to help us (the moderators) out. One moderator should reply with a quote of your work and the filled in evaluation form in the thread.
Otherwise, you can post your own poetry/prose in your own thread. Please name the topic with the title of your poem/prose piece. Thankyou.

VERY IMPORTANT - This is an elitist's guild, should any person consistently post sub-standard works, without sufficient explanation, then they will be notified that they have one month to submit a piece for moderation. If it fails the entrance criteria, it will mean EXPULSION from the Alliance.
