This greenhouse contains most of the plants that students work with, though first year students are not allowed in. Mandrakes, bubotubers and puffapods are all grown here as well as shrivelfigs and several dangerous muggle plants that can be poisonous. Magic keeps the plants off the top of the greenhouse, letting light filter in. All the glass is scrubbed clean, whether by magic or by students during detention.

"Well, It's a good thing you don't hate me." Domini smiled. Finally someone she could exchange jibes with and tease without worrying about hurting them. As she entered Greenhouse Three, a thought dawned on her and she placed her hand over her heart in mock distress. "Are you saying I'm not sneaky? I can be very sneaky." She managed to say without laughing.

"Thanks for telling me. I'll be sure to look out for that type of behaviour," Chad said mockingly. "Are you sure Professor Hurst would appreciate this type of sneaky, or dare I say- flirtatious- behaviour you exhibit?"

Dom broke most of the stem off the rose she was holding and stuck it in her ponytail before looking sideways at him and striding to the table where the leaves of the mandrakes were twitching slightly. "Speak you of Professor Karen Hurst? Why would there be any reason for her to be upset in anyway? I have no relationship with her." Even as she said this, the word yet rang through her mind.

Domini shrugged. "I see her every morning. I do have to deal with her torturing her brother every morning. And I knew Alair during sixth year." She paused, staring at the mandrakes. "Kiri has gone after every female teacher she's laid her eyes on, except Rain. I knew my turn would come eventually."

Dom hopped up on an empty space on a table. "I really don't know. I mean, she does have a certain...attraction...but I'm not sure I'm quite ready for a non-heterosexual relationship." She said, half to him and half to herself.

Chad nodded as he understood the situation. "So have you ever given any indication that you were interested? Her hitting on you, has it been a persistent thing, or just an instantaneous thing?" he asked, trying to know more.

Domini scoffed. "Not that I know of, and this just started today. We're watching a movie in a few days; her, me, Alair and Daco." She shook her head slightly. "Honestly, I'm a little nervous about going. I've never really had a.....relationship."

"You don't suppose you're nervous because you really like her, but are in denial, do you?" Chad asked, offering his view. "I mean, sure, at first, you may be the talk of the Castle; heavens know the students talk about Alair and Draco, but I'm sure it'd become perfectly normal once you settle into the relationship."

Dom decided to let her body fall forward so she was hanging over the table. She reached up and pulled out the bun, letting her hair fall free, and not noticing that the rose was still entangled in the midnight locks. "I have no idea."

"Forget it. It's just what I think... can't say it's gotten me anywhere... or anyone for that matter," Chad said, a little discouraged. "When it comes to relationships, I'm not the most knowledgable. Do what you feel is right. It's just what seems logical, you know?"

Domini sighed and tried to throw something at him without looking. She threw a leaf...and she didn't succeed. "Don't be so hard on yourself, Chad. You're not the only one who can't seem to get anyone around here. And don't you dare say 'but you have Kiri.' " Her words were slightly muffled from the hair.

"I guess you're right... There really aren't that many adults around when you're here teaching teenagers all year 'round so not everyone can have someone," Chad conceded. "I also can't say I've really done much to get any relationships going. After I left Hogwarts, and even the last year I was here, I seemed to stop trying. Now that I've found myself again, I want to start again."
