I've noticed that a lot of flute players are starting to come. We have so many flute players at our school that we can make an army! Does anyone else notice this or is it just me?

It's not like that at all in my school. We need more flute players, but i do find a lot of flute players over the internet.@_@. I only play the flute on wednesday nights and parades. XD

We have so many flutes, we have to swich them over to clarinets.

Our flute section is actually pretty even with the rest of the band, population-wise. We have about ten during concert season, which is about the same as trumpets and clarinets. We never seem to have enough low brass, though.

We have too many right now. But in three years we will have too few because half of us will graduate and only two (if that many) will come up. Although next year will have quite a few.

We actually have more clarinets than flutes one had to switch to oboe and the other one had to switch to bass clarinet.

We had one flute. Tiny band. Sad. Just think, we had as many flutes as:
-bassoons
-French horns
-oboes
-trumpets
-saxophones
-percussion
-tubas
And the bassoon, horn, oboe, and drummer all left us. In fact, the only thing we had more than one of was clarinets. Sad. crying

Sad. crying i'm so sorry. that doesn't seem like much. but you never know there might be a jump all of a sudden. we had 13 flutes in my band but we also had 3 oboes and about a million saxes and trumpets. our band got so big we had to split it into 2 bands.

Our band has six flutes. But most of them suck so it feels like we only have three.

We don't have enough flutes. All the flutes switch to percussion because we need some percussion, and they stay there, so we have 20 percussion people, and 5 flutes. It's horrible.

There aren't really all that many flutes in our band, but there are alot of trumpets

well actualy you should send some flutes to my school, we have 2. we have to many drummers (that includes me) and send some trumpets to cause i think e have like 3 or 4

We have 29 flutes this year.........
the second biggest section is the alto saxes.....they have 13.......
way too much
