Have you heard the song that plays during the cameo battle with Mint, Philia, Rid and Nanaly in Tales of the Abyss? It's called "Take up the Fangs of Inferior Peace" if you're not aware. If you've never heard the song, you can view this very makeshift video of mine that has the song playing in it. Ignore the random battle footage and stuff I show in it, haha...
Anyway, my idea is to create a song like that. "Like what?" Well, a medley; a song composed of several different melodies. Take up the Fangs, for example, I'm fairly sure includes "Bare Its Fangs" (Tales of Destiny), "Inferia Battle" (Tales of Eternia), "Dona Novis Pacem (Tales of Destiny 2), "Alea Jacta Est" (Tales of Destiny 2) and "Take Up The Cross" (Tales of Phantasia). Those are all battle themes from four previous Tales games.
Well, basically, my idea is the same, except to use new songs and simply cut and paste pieces of each in a project on Windows Movie Maker. That'll be quite simple to do, I think. I'm just wondering... What songs should I use? I'm looking for about one song from each of the main Tales games. Not any of the five that were used in Take up the Fangs. So, if you're willing to submit ideas, I'll go find the song and listen to it, see what it sounds like. I'll probably take you up on your suggestion.
Here is what I've decided on so far. The songs I'm probably going to use are below. If you have a neat battle theme to request that's from one of the games I already have a song written in for, it's fine. Post it. I'll go and listen to it. Who knows? I could like it better. Who knows? I might decide to use two songs from each game... well, except, that might make it a bit too complex of a medley, I think.
~Tales of Phantasia: Any suggestions?
~Tales of Destiny: I'm considering "Leon ~ Victim of Fate" and "Rebel Against Destiny". Any other suggestions?
~Tales of Eternia: Any suggestions?
~Tales of Destiny 2: Any suggestions?
~Tales of Symphonia: I'm considering "Beat the Angel" and "Keen-Edged Blade". Any other suggestions?
~Tales of Rebirth: I'm considering "Desperate Battle". Any other suggestions?
~Tales of Legendia: Any suggestions?
~Tales of the Abyss: I'm considered "Never Surrender" and "Eternal Mind". Any other suggestions?
I'd appreciate all replies to this!

It may sort of a fan-creation, but since it is music related, it goes here. Once the song is done, you can post it here and make another topic back in the fan-creation sub-forum, =D.
Also, Alea Jacta Est is not one of the songs in Everlasting Fight... Sounds a lot like it doesn't it though, O_o? It's still Dona Novis Pacem.
Well, I guess it depends. Do you just want to do a battle theme medley? Or maybe a boss medley?

As well, the cameo match has Eternal Mind in it, which is originally from Eternia. It plays during the fight's climax. But it's not from Abyss.

Awesome idea. And Timeline is a remake of Bare its Fangs. ^_^
Here's some of my choices:
ToP~ Decisive.
ToD~ Bare its Fangs.
ToE~ Eternal Mind.
ToD2~ Theme of Battle.
ToS~ Fatalize
ToR~ Scutum - Fang
ToL~ ... God, it's hard here. They're all so different from the rest of the series! gonk Uh... Run in the Middle of the Storm? It's not a battle theme, though...
TotA~ The Arrow was Shot.
I only used regular battle themes because boss battle themes are usually crazy-exciting and don't fit in well with the uplifting songs. I mean, you'd have exciting and happy Arrow was Shot, and then suddenly DUN DUN... DUN DUN DUN DUN.

I kept Bare its Fangs because next to Take up the Cross it's the most dominant and well-known Tales battle theme. I wouldn't take it out.
I've never played Eternia, but Kirby said Eternal Mind was from Eternia, and it sounded cool in the Cameo battle, so...
Fatalize, because it's one of the few badass themes in the game.
I heard Scutum - Fang in a Combo Video, so...
TotA: Same as Destiny. Loud and dominant boss themes don't fit in with exciting random battle songs.

I personally like Fighting of the Spirit for Tales of Symphonia and Tales of Phantasia. Of corse i only have those 2 games so cant help with the rest sweatdrop . (Also if this battle theme is in all the Tales of games than im sorry in advance i didnt know)

Okay, thanks for the several suggestions everyone. I'm glad you're all submitting your ideas. Although, as it's been my birthday weekend the past few days, as well as the end of the school year and everything, I've been incredibly busy. So, I haven't gone and listened to some of the songs suggested yet, even Hoshi's... Anyway. I will get around to it, now that it's officially summer. ^_^EliteWarrior ToL~ ... God, it's hard here. Speaking of Legendia, I bought it today! I'm barely even into it, but it's fun. I love the actual battle theme, so I think I'll use that as one... whatever it's called.EliteWarrior I kept Bare its Fangs because next to Take up the Cross it's the most dominant and well-known Tales battle theme. I've searched the whole OST of Legendia, and to no avail have I found the generic boss theme. The one with the intense strings in the beginning. I was wondering if anyone knew what it was called or where it could be found, because that ranks up there with Fighting of the Spirit on my faves list.
