UPDATE: (7/13/06)
Well, for the last year we've all been banning together to try and get Dir en Grey to the US. In the end we accumulated the support of almost 2000 people, but the site will be closing down. A final newsletter will be going out to everyone who joined, and perhaps I will post a copy of it here. Thank you.
UPDATE: (3/6/06)
In hopes of setting up a tour better than the one Dir en Grey currently has, I've started this poll to get your feeback on problems with the current tour, and what they could improve on for you personally (aside from dir en grey not playing in your home town). So to get this information I would like to know these things:
A) If the problems mentioned are a problem for you, and why.
B) If there are any other problems for you with being able to attend their current shows
C) What you suggest to fix this

UPDATE: (1/5/06)

There's a really important update to the site, and I'm going to need everyone's help. Please see it if you haven't already ^^

It's a proposal to get Dir en Grey's attention, and I'm going to need EVERYONE'S help.

I'll start with mine..>_> Holly Banks, japanfan08@yahoo.com, and I'm in Wisconsin (where else) 3nodding and if you wouldn't like your info plastered on the guild page, just e-mail or PM it to me so I can add it to the database 3nodding

I have to say Washington for myslef...but that's cause my parents are dumb and don't understand why I like Japanese music, plus they don't like me to travel...so that would cut two things Travel...and it would definitly cut travel for Japanese music...><...my parents are butt heads

Names maybe? It'd be really helpful because I'm making a formal database with Microsoft works, and when I e-mail Diru's record company and managers it'd be nice to show them names instead of Gaia usernames sweatdrop also, if you want, go ahead and add little messages so I can get to translating them to Japanese for Diru surprised might as well do that while I'm at it...>_> please, no big huge page long messages sweatdrop
@Geo- Yeah, setting up a concert in Cali would probably be the best idea.... but since I'm setting up the concert, it's sort of dumb for me to set up a concert that i won't be able to attend, ne? Maybe if we get enough Cali area fans I'll try and set up one for there also 3nodding

Okay thankies. You don't have to put your whole name if you don't want to 3nodding . Well, let's try to get them here first blaugh one advantage of having a concert in the same country is that if it's not near you, You couls always drive to the concert, take a train, or take a bus (for everyone who thinks they won't be able to go because of distance whee ) 3nodding

I'm kinda south from those little places....(like Illinois blaugh ) But if we could get like one concert in each part of the USA that would be great, Like one north west, norht, north east, east, south east(me ^^0) south, south west, west, and central. ^^0 that's like 8 LoL
Any how, one could be done in NC. NC is 11th most populous state, Largest city - CHARLOTTE, and second largest RALEIGH
Charlotte is one of the 50 largest cities in the USA. (25 largest) the second-largest banking center in the United States. The city is a hub for US Airways.

blaugh So just think about it...
MSN and Email = Midori_akina@hotmail.com, Holly is the name. ^^0

Name: Bren, 17, Spokane Valley, WA.

So long as the concert was not during schooltime, I could take a bus to whereever... But an eventual concert in Seattle would be the s**t! heart

I sent out the first mass mail aort of promoting the guild and my Crusade to get diru here to 64 American fans from LJ 3nodding I sitll have lots and lots more e-mails to hunt down from all over the web, but if we can have at least 2000 people who can go to a concert in either Indiana or Illinois, we're pretty much golden... *goes to hunt downs an e-mail for Diru's record company xd *

O_O it'd be really nice if they could come to the New England area...specifically Boston, Massachusetts or Manchester, New Hampshire...mmhmm ^_^ i've noticed that most bands like to stick to the west...or maybe that's just me u_U;; but it would be great if Diru came to the east 3nodding yeah, i wouldn't be able to make it to the concert within that area ;-; stuck in Mass. for a bit >_<

anyways! here's my info:

They stick to the SOUTH WEST. The Northwest doesn't see much, save Seattle or somethin'... It's truly a heartbreaking thing.

Thanks everyone who has submitted info 3nodding whee we have 8 people who would be able to make a concert and 13 people all together biggrin and I've gone through some of the websites for the concert Halls Diru usually performs at, and the ones I'd have to rent out for the concert. I'm probably going to need anywhere from 15,000-20,000 to actually get them to come over here, and the more people we have, the less I'd have to charge for tickets. If you think about it, Diru would have to pay a lot to fly over, then to have all their equipment to be shipped, and have to pay for hotel and food etc. So we're going to have to have 15,000-20,000 fans for them to even consider going through all that trouble to come do a show 3nodding One of the main places I'm thinking of thorowing the concert is the Verison Wireless Music center in Indiana. Here's the official site for all of you who are curious to read about it, and get a look at seating, and capacity and so forth:
http://www.verizonwirelessmusiccenter.com/main.html (there's a picture of the entire plave on the links page)

arrow If you think 15,000-20,000 is a lot, Yokohama Arena (home of the 2003 Diru dvd) seats 17,000 people.

Yesyes! Anywhere in the u.s is damn well better than berlin! But Texas and Florida are my top two choices, of course.
