I left for a few days....
A vacation I needed,
One I thought we needed
From each other...
I thought it was what you wanted...
But when I came back,
You were gone.
I've been back for days,
Trying to figure out
Exactly what happened.
Why I can't find you,
why you don't
answer the phone...
Why I can't see
your smiling face
when I close my eyes.
...today I made a call.
One I've made a hundred times
But this time getting the answers I wanted.
The answers I can't take.
The answers I already knew.
You're gone....not for good....
but still gone.
I don't know when I'll see you again,
I don't know when I'll hear your voice.
What the hell happened that night?!
Why did the promise get broken....
Why are you gone?!?!?!
