At no point are you allowed to create your own clan. There are four set clans and it will remain so until stated otherwise. If I see a new clan thread popping up I have a right to delete it.Clans can not exceed over 90 members. This includes all pups, even if it is not likely to happen.Try and pick a clan that your hyena would agree to being in. This is oviously not required, but it is more likely that a hyena will be drafted into a clan in which they agree with the alpha's personality and the clan's background. This is not to say you have to, but it is simply to help keep conflict down.Keep conflict in the clans to a minimum. With hyena's it is quite often that conflict breaks loose, but try and keep it to a minimum unless it is part of a plot going on within the clan and the owner of the clan alpha has agreed to it.Do not play 'clan favourites'. There are four clans, and many chances to for different RP, don't go stuffing all your hyena's into the same clan. We don't after all want one clan that has like 20 members while the others have around 3 or so. Remember it is often that males leave their birth clan to go to another. Not to say you can't have your hyenas all in one clan.

Clans can include from 5-90 members.Clans are led by an alpha female (however in the PL universe on rare occasion an alpha male).Males usually leave their birth clan once they are about two years of age.Females tend to mate with males outside of their clan (for the PL universe this does not have to be so, just no inbreeding).Other clan members do not care for another female's pups.Each clan has at least one communal den.

the alpha. Rescued as a pup by the Lion Shamaness, Tay-yibah, Kilana lives in peace with the Prides. As long as they stay out of her way, she stays out of theirs. Certian lions and lionesses are welcome to stay within her clan. She will not tolerate those who will not tolerate lions.
history. Middle ground was formed by the bloodied claws and fangs of the lowest Hyena. Shunned by the others for her association with Tay-yibah and the Shaman's mate, she grew strong. Finally rising to the top of her pack as Alpha. Now the Clan lives side by side with lions.

the alpha. Dakindi is exceptionally silent. Her movements hardly make any sound and make her seem to "appear" out of the twilight. She will not speak unless she has something important to say, and communicates largely through body language and movement. She sees no point in interesting herself with the squabbles of others, unless they are under her rule and then she will intervene. She has NO interest in lions, and neither detests nor likes them. She does not particularly care for others opinions, and loathes opposition. Cunning and occasionally cruel (if the matter calls for it) she has all the strength she needs to rule her clan and protect that which is important to her.
history. Dakindi was abandoned at a very young age. She wandered and fought to live and gain respect among the Hyenas. Eventually making her way to the GhostHunt Clan grounds, she saw visions of pale bodied hunters and ghostly prey. This land called to her, and bid her stay. During her wanderings she had a few confrontations with lions, but mostly they ended in casual interest, or disinterest. Therefore she has decided to remain neutral to all lion prides, until a lion gives her a reason to be otherwise...

the alpha. Denali is not the female to mess with. She is usually silent, not one to speak much of, or to her clan. The fairly sad part however, is that she is quite the Lazy. Usually getting another Hyena to do the dirty work for her.
However, though she usually seems pretty calm and just lazy, if you anger her, she will rise to her paws and strike you acrossed the face. She will not be put down, and she will not be ignored. She will be fallowed, and she will be listened to. If she isn't listened to, there are multipul things that she might deside to do to a Hyena.
history. Feared? Hardly. Though they should be. For those that know the Hyena of the clan, they know that these Hyena, especially their Alpha Female, Denali, should indeed be feared. The clan has known to been strong, and still is.
Khelek Hurro' has gone through times they'd rather not... mainly, with lions. Blaimed for something they hadn't done, but another pack of Rogue Hyena's had, barging into a Pride. For this mistake, Denali claimed that from that point on, Hyena and Lion, were at War, within her Clan...
