What to do and how to get there
Okay the first thing you want to do is read the 'Welcome' post. Which you're doing. Read it all the way through, then post that you read it. 3nodding
Next, you are going to want to post a profile or two. This is done at the Fifth Element Rp subforum. On the 'Profiles here' sticky.
After that, you must read through the Battle System post, and spend your Battle Credits acording to how you want to RP your character. You cannot participate in any battle before the basic outline for your characters battle system is in place.
Then, you can roleplay! You can also check out the Randomness sticky whenever you want. heart
Pure and simple! Read the rules and the story, post a profile, and Roleplay!
Oh, and be sure to have fun! wink

Rules and FAQFOLLOW THE TOS! 1. No God Moding, Mary Sues, or Gary Stus. 2. No autohitting, or dodging of every attack. 3. Be literate, this means no chatspeak, no ** or the suchlike for actions, and absolutely no one lines. 4. Don't control other people's characters. 5. Fill out your profiles before posting. 6. Remember, the mods can get you banned. Be nice to them. If you are doing something wrong, you will get two warnings. After that, you're banned. 7. No killing of other people's characters, leave that to the npcs, unless the member in control of the character gives their permission. 8. Keep gore to a minimum, unless you want me sick 9. No cybering, romance must be kept to a PG13 level 10. Be polite. No yelling at each other! (Unless it's in roleplay, then you can if it's in your character's personality.) 11. You must be literate or the police will get you! We don't mind if you mispell a word here, or miss a punctuation there, but please...TRY to be literate! FAQ
FAQ Q:How can a elf carry an element? Is it like some marking or do they get powers form the element and the such? A:'The Element' is a deep magic that was originally carried deep within the soul of every elf. It was a part of them. They were born with it, and they died with it. It only left thier bodies after the point of death and at that point they left to go to another, newly born elf, but in a different form. Perhaps even appearing as a different 'element'. It is used as a magical force that reflects the portion of the elment they hold. For example; An elf carrying a portion of the element taking the form of the 'wind element', may be able to influence when and where it rains while another, carrying the same element, may influence the strength or fury of the coming storm. Q:How does the Fifth Element strip them of this element? Is it like some gruesome battle, magic spell that they can do or what? A: Well, every elf has the power to take another elves element, but it has simply never been done before. It's a simple spell, really. But the fact still remains that it broke the laws of the elves. Elves are not stupid like humans are ((Sorry if I offend anyone here)) they understand that there will be consequences if they break thier laws. The laws of the elves are upheld by a deep magic that no one really understands, which makes that all the more true. Q:And if the Fifth Element lost the ability to give birth to elves then do they give birth to humans with no special abilities that only elves have? A: Yes, no, and yes, yes, yes. They are no longer elves, and thier children are no longer elves, but they are not quite humans. They are still as intelligent and whatnot as elves, but thier strength and thier beauty are reduced to a human-like state. ((Again, I don't want to offend anyone!)) Q:Are there any other races besides elves? A: Ah! But, of course! ^_^ Fae, Dwarves, Dragons, the Lost Race(Otherwise known as Genoshens), Dryads, etc... Whatever you can think of really. Q:Can any of the other races carry and/or have control over a piece of a certain element? A:No. Other races can have other magical abilities, but the control over the element is something that is...(I can't think of the word right now...) err...special to the elven race.

The History
After near a century of peace in the world of the elves, another force has arisen.
The elves have always lived as four kingdoms. Earth, Wind, Water, and Fire. But a band of rebels has defied thier seemingly infinite peace. They call themselves the Fifth element. They didn't seem much a threat. The rules of the Elves were simple: Never lie, steal, cheat, betray, or anything of the sort. Especially donnot lie.
The Fifth element lost the privilage of being able to be an elf at all when they broke these rules, but they could still bear elven children, and carry and bear the element.
Suddenly any elf who left camp alone came back with their element stripped. Gone. Disappeared.
The Fifth Kingdom was stealing the element.
When this was realized, The element was put into four young children and they were sent away to the nearest continent. The nearest other country. Which happened to be either the US, or Japan.
Recently, the Fifth Kingdom started attacking innoccent elves for their own greed. In doing so they lost their ability to bear elven children. And bear the element. They can only carry the element for a limited time, so they had to put all of their element into one child. The only elven child of the Fifth Kingdom...
The other elves started calling the Fifth Kingdom the Kingdom of Darkness, or the Kingdom of Hate, this provoked them, and now they are searching for the children of the element...
