Rose had been a normal city girl until that one day at the age of 11. She was walking down downtown Soai when she heard gunfire. Scared, she had ran across the street and turned the corner only to see a stray Vulpix caught in the middle of a brawl between a shopkeeper and a robber with a gun. Rose saw the look on the Vulpixes face and then ran in between them and scooped up the little fox in her arms before the robber shot. Since then, she had named the Vulpix, Sunfire and has been training her ever since.
