Karla Comments: Saetan once ruled Dhemlan in both Terreille and Kaeleer. Thousands of years ago, the Dhemlan Queens in Terreille and Kaeleer made a bargain with Saetan to protect the Dhemlan Territory in Terreille from Hayll's encroachment. Some Queens have deeply resented having to live with that bargain and be ruled by a male.
When Saetan became a Guardian he gave Dhemlan Terreille to Mephis to rule. Saetan still rules Dhemlan in the Shadow Realm.
