In all of Hogwarts, this is perhaps the most impressive room. Upon entering, the first thing that attracts your attention is the ceiling, which seems to be a prefect representation of the sky outside. Candles hover in mid-air over four huge tables, and there is a fifth, smaller table against the wall opposit the door. This room is clearly set up to be able to comfortably seat everyone occupying the vast castle, most likely for meals, or perhaps special celebrations.

*Soleara walks into the room, staring at the ceiling while somehow managing not to trip on Shelly.* "Impressive. Eep!" *the ceiling creates a falling star that falls on her head.* "This isn't any fun at all. What a thing to put in a dining hall!* *she walks off, her nose in the air and her chin jutted out, holding the ball of light in her hand. she leaves the great hall.*

Miri see's :SIL talking to the head professor, Snape. She walks up and hears her ask wether he had seen Draco or not. NO! MY DRACO! she thought viciously.
