I suck at this stuff, so work with me. xD My name is Amanda, but you can call me 'Manda, Az, or anything that doesn't evolve into Mandy.
My birthday is July 1st, '89. (Gaia: 1-11-04)
I'm going to be starting my last year of high-school at the end of August.
I like love friends, but don't feel like I have that many.

-Silence-
Darkness crept swiftly over the land, leaving it cold and quiet around me. It was as though nothing could break the dreaded lull of the bleakness setting in. The only thing I could do was wait for the silence to shatter; Just sit there amongst the trees and anticipate the moment. A rush of wind whispered amongst the leaves, soon followed by a soft splash. "Drip-drop." Could it be? The relief I had been longing for? Something as simple as the gentle patter of the rain as it fell upon my face? "Drip-drop. Drip-drop." I listened to the rhythm of the falling water as it sprinkled everything in its path. The dabble quieted as the beat of the droplets slowed, until it ceased to exist. I closed my eyes as the hush spread, trying to savor the tender caress of every last water droplet. But my efforts seemed useless, for the shadow remained. Once again, silence reigned supreme. -I wrote this when I was all pissy because people couldn't believe that I could have a male best-friend, and vice-versa. Too bad the relation-ship still fell apart. D;-
This is the tragic tale of two people destined to be together. But, people can't see that they're destined to be together, forever, as friends.
Instead, they turn what happens to be a very strong bond between friends into a fairytale of love and romance.
They think that they're creating what the both of them want, but in reality, they're breaking what the both of them have.
By speaking of how they believe these two people feel, they rip the very seams of the bond between them. This continues, until finally, one side unravels, leaving nothing but a mess of feelings and emotions. Then, the other side is left to pick up the pieces. However, no matter how well the tare is mended, the threads of friendship are never the same.
Until one day, the damage is beyond repair, leaving the two pieces alone and seperate.

I always dreamt of a perfect world.
Perfect boy, perfect girl.
I dreamt of the way that he would be.
How he would always love me and only me.
I dreamt of how he could make things right.
How he'd keep me company when I'm alone at night.
I dreamt of the way he'd hold me close and tell me all is well.
How he'd know it all but never ever tell.
I dreamt of how he'd catch my tears and build a bright rainbow.
How he'd be with me wherever I should go.
I dreamt of the way he'd make me smile.
How he'd make my life worth while.
I dreamt of a world in harmony.

They were based upon one big lie.
I thought that dreams really could come true.
I actually believed I could be with you.

But I saw how someone else could keep you happy forever.

All I had left were worries and fears.

All that hope I ever had, it vanished as a cried.

These are probably just going to get posted into the thread. They probably won't all be bad, either. xD ..Bleh. -7-6-06- James and I were doing really good until I saw some girl with his picture in her signature. He says that she's his ex, but I'm having a hard time beliving him. It's not about liking eachother anymore. Now it's the friendship at stake.
I believe him, but his ex doesn't really seem to be an ex.
EDIT: Heh heh, she isn't his ex, she is his girlfriend. He did lie, and then he cut me off from all means of contacting him. Kind of sad. =/ DADS! D: -6-22-06- So I have this new computer, right? Weeeell, all my art/music/writings/etc. are on the old computer. Daddy has been saying that he'll transfer it all to my new computer for two weeks now. Well, I wanted my stuff, so I asked him while he was laying on the couch watching TV if he would burn a few things to a CD for me. He looked at me and said "I don't have time. Unlike you, I work all day."

...so, that made me VERY uncomfortable. I just kept my eyes on Sam.
And then, the song finally ends...and I'm all relieved. Then this lady hugs me and says "Thanks for the dance, doll...what's your name?" I was thinking -OMGDON'TYOUTOUCHME!-
Buuuut, I said 'Manda,' and she's all 'Joyce, night sweetie.'

Then this lady looks at Sam and says "I'd had my eye on her all night. You can have her now, boy."
