Time for a battle of wits, will, bullets, and skill! We have the worlds best theif attempting to elude the clutches of the world's greatest secret agent.
Lupin's advantages. Jigen, Goemon, and Fujiko. A skilled team of operatives, each with their own specialty. Adaptability. They never seem at a loss for back-up plans when their primary approach fails. Experience. They've been eluding the law for quite some time. Then again, the man they were eluding WAS a bit of an incompetant . . .
Bond's Advantages. Works for one of the world's BEST information gathering forces. Skilled in hand-to-hand, firearms, tracking, and a multitude of other skills, he also seems to be quick to pick up new ones. Q Branch. M.I. 6 never seems to be at a loss for new and innovative gadgets to loan out to their 00 agents. Especially when it's Mr. Bond. Experience. Bond is just as experienced at capturing those accustomed to eluding the law, if not more so.
It seems that Bond and Lupin share almost the exact same weaknesses . . . a taste for alcohol (though Bond favors vodka martinis, as opposed to Lupin's taste for wine), and a taste for women.
Note: Given that Lupin is NOT the usual megalomaniacal villain, there would be no cause on ond's part to execute Lupin, unless absolutely forced. In other words . . . it's not to the death.

This is tough, like them both. Bond has a distinct advantage in firepower and gadgetry (is that a word?). But Lupin seems to have a master scheme for everything. I have to give this one to Mr. Bond, too many times have i seen Lupin fail in his scheme, only to escape by the incompetence of others'.
