Visually stunning, probably one of the most discussed films of all times. The sequels never came close to matching the original.

Ya...2010 Does not even come close..that is for sure. 2001 was more than a vision of the future. It was a vision of the future of movies.

I had to watch that in my Social Studies class in the year of 2001 and discuss it. rolleyes

Really, any movie that I had to write an essay on really irritates me. I think its because I have to pick it apart to the point where I can't just sit back and enjoy it.
