Curious how many of you have been following ARIA the Animation and its second season, ARIA the Natural. For being one of the better series of the last year or so, it doesn't seem to get a lot of attention, most likely because of the lack of explosions, ecchi comedy, or progressive plot, and a marked overabundance of any fanservice other than that provided by an overweight cat. (But a cat is fine too, right?...)

I, for one, would like to visit Neo-Venezia.

It's been a long time since I've heard someone speak of that title. 3nodding I've been hearing many good things about this anime so I'm gonna look into it more.

I don't mind the not-fanservice and non-linear plot, but the one thing I'm a sucker for is romance. I've restrained myself from buying the manga because, while it does look like a rather beautiful manga, it doesn't look like it has the romance element I'm looking for.

I love slice of life anime, and this is one of the best in my opinion~ <3 I've only watched ARIA the NATURAL but I still love it~! It's a very peaceful, soothing, and creative anime. I love the settings of Neo-Venezia. ^^

Aria is a anime and manga set on a future Mars, flooded in the process of terraforming. In the city of Neo-Venesuala (Sp?) young women called Undines pilot boats to transport people around the city as well as serving as guides.

Aria is a feel good anime that you don't really have to think about. It's awesome.

In the first volume of the Manga where the gandala girl (can't remember her name at the moment) talked about the sigh bridge. I actually got to visit that bridge while I was in Venezia (that's the proper way to spell Venice). I like reading the manga, but it's really rare to come across where I live, but is the anime in any way just a good or better than the Manga?
