Y'know, not to sound a bit ..bitter.. or anything, but we have less support by normal users than, oh... the RIP, which didn't (doesn't?) even HAVE a guide yet. Even the slowly updated GEN still has tons of supporters. And of course, the GCG is the most popular.
Gubbi and I attempted a new layout for the SIN with hopes of perhaps gaining more attention, since updating our prices regularly obviously does no good. But even the great layout Gubbi created was stopped short by some unknown error in the coding that we just can't find. Most unfortunate.
Every exchange thread we see lists GCG, EVIL, GEN... everything but the SIN. It is very difficult to go through so much time and effort and not even get a spot of recognition.
You guys, the staffers, have been doing a great job trying to cheer us on. But it's not enough. It's never enough... Gubbi and I are retiring from the SIN, and quite possibly from the exchange itself. Hell knows it's become a horrible place. sweatdrop And with every new price guide that comes out, we're thrown back farther into the shadows.
So, with a heavy heart, we're leaving. It was a hard choice. We will leave the SIN open and let the current staffers do what they wish to the SIN, it's all in your hands now. We won't close the SIN-- but you guys might just see how it feels to have something you truly love slowly die in your arms and not be able to save it no matter what you do. We may come back and post once in a while, but we will hereby renounce our duties. Not that anyone outside the guild gives a crap anyway.
The guild will be handed down to Sabin Lionheart, but he may feel free to change ownership as he pleases.
Current staffers can make announcements, change prices, change the layout, do whatever. But please consult each other first. I trust you'll do a good job to keep it up without us, until you too realize it's in vain. sad
Good luck. heart

Please note that this decision has been sticking in the back of our minds for a while now. We've always appreciated our supporters, and for a while they were the only thing keeping us going. But times change, numbers shorten, and our general fanbase shrunk to a mere 78 guild members. Half of which only wanted to be in this Guild in order to compare our prices with that of the other guides', not to actually support us. I'm not saying I was very good at keeping my portions of the guide top-notch and accurate, but I tried. sweatdrop
Good luck to the remaining staffers, I know you can manage the guide just fine if you really apply yourselves. ^^ *Shakes all of your pixel hands*
Goodbye, everyone.

noooooooooooooooooooo!!! You guys can't ditch us now! This new layout can be fixed, we'll just have to adjust it a bit. If you guys won't stay here, what will the SIN become? You guys are the image of SIN, without you, it's not the same... Don't go, I beg you!
But if you decide to stick with your decision this time, know this. I WILL STAY here and update this guide. Whether or not you decide to stay.
I just made my first edit and I am very proud of it, so as long as I'm on Gaia, I will keep this place alive. Some may call it stubornness, but I call it persistence! I will make SIN a well-known guide!

sad Its sorry to see you go, but I might as well say I wont be around much either. Iv'e been away from the Exchange for a long time, and since I dont have much of an intrest, aside from the occasional drop in, I feel useless since I have to actually force myself to go there. With a few new reposnsibilites, I pretty much only browse/lurk/post in a few forums anyways - and the exchange is no longer one of them.

I see lots of SIN supporters actually...maybe it isn't the most popular but it's still great <3~ Sorry to see you and Gubbi go ToT;;; and really sorry that I haven't been around helping.. sweatdrop (not that I've been since early last year x.x) stupid real life problems *mumbles* and not really sure will I have the heart to help now...I'm sick (and scared) of the exchange and its insane price, I just hide in shops now... Good luck to everyone that's helping out~ <3

Not just the Exchange, the whole of Gaia. I haven't logged in for about a week up until now. Sorry to see you guys go, but I'll always be supporting SIN in my heart. Just make the best of whatever you do, and in this case, take a well deserved break.

I don't care if you don't have alot of supportors. mad I like this freaking a** price guide, 10X better then the others. Who cares? Doesn't show enough to see that you even got your price guide in a sticky? THE GCG IS ******** CRAP. they overprice everything. Your guide is the best. You should see how many people try to get in that sticky, with their price guides. Your design, and everything on the sin showed you took EFFORT, TIME, AND WORK into that price guide. Im gonna go nuts. KEEP IT. mad heart
