... I've never played one of these before...
Bump 2?
Or since it's my first bump is it bump 1? (sorry!)
Anyway...
The agricultural product produced in the greatest amount in California is... marijuana. (Or it was about five years ago; my figures might be outdated, but I figure it's still relevant enough to be interesting)

Ah, thankee. Wanted to double-check on that... And yeah... it's a plant, it's grown, so it's agriculture. It's a joke in Riverside, too -- that at UCR, the chemistry and agriculture/botany departments always have such high enrollment numbers. I mean, they're really good, respected departments, but because Riverside's got the stereotype of being such a druggie city (not to mention it's the official "meth capital of the world"), the irony's certainly not lost on anyone there!

((Well... yeah. High and very organized scale, large crops and vast farms... that's about right, actually.
Knew a guy... forgive me for getting really vague at this point... anyway, he'd find trusted "tenants" for apartments he'd rent -- 2 bedroom units, in many different areas. Tenants would be expected to keep a low profile, not have company, and otherwise be respectable. One bedroom would belong to this dude's crop, which he'd come by every month or so to check on and harvest.
He'd never worked a day in his life, and he owns (not rents, not leases, owns a nice house in a good city, is married and has a baby, an SUV, etc etc. You'd never figure him for running the business, as it were.))
bump 2
The name "California" comes from a 16th-century romance novel called Amadis de Gallia.
