Strength:
Known mainly for her attack power than her strength, Samus has fought countless foes and left them in her wake. Samus list of downed foes is rather impressive as some of these foes were causing havoc on a worldly scale.
Feat 1: Countless minor, but deadly, foes have been downed by Samus regularly (Magmoors, Arachnus, Flaahgra, Ing, etc)
Feat 2: Samus fought and defeated Ridley on four occasion, a European Dragon-like space pirate under the rule of Mother Brain. She fights two variations of Ridley at some point Meta-Ridley and Mecha-Ridley, both were expotentially stronger and tougher than the previous Ridley. She still beats him.
Feat 3: Kraid, a gigantic reptilian monster, was defeated by Samus on two occasion. Kraid weighs over 110 tons, and 460 pounds (100 metric tons,or 220,460 pounds),and is 65 ft. and 7.392 in.(20 meters) tall.
Feat 4: Metroid, a life energy draining predator, has been nearly extinct by the hands of Samus and she's taken on 2 evolved forms of a Metroid, Prime and Omega. Prime is an evolved form of a Metroid due to exposure to Phazon. Impervious to all attacks from Samus, she still manages to beat it. Omega is an actual evolution of a Metroid and is no longer weak against cold. Just as tough as Metroid Prime, Omega Metroid still falls to Samus.
Feat 5: Mother Brain, a cyborg computer, has faced Samus a couple of times. Although her natural form isn't nothing to write home about (she's a large brain in a glass tank), it isn't until she goes into her second form in which she gets her reputation from. Mother Brain is revealed to be part of a large, bipedal creature, with a range of powerful attacks. Capable of the devestating Hyper Beam, Samus was still manages to beat MB.
Feat 6: On two occasion, Samus has fought a stronger version of herself and won. The first (timeline) was Dark Samus, a Phazon created version of her suit. The other was a X-parasite created Samus called SA-X. Samus surived/avoided (for a time) SA-X when it outclassed her greatly. Both version of Samus were downed by her.
Speed:
Samus speed isn't to hard to determine as you can simply look at the things she've accomplished and set a value to that.
Feat 1: Before Gravity Suit, but once Speedbooster is aquired, Samus is able to trend land at mach speed.
Feat 2: Once Gravity Suit is aquired along with Speedbooster, Samus is able to trend water at mach speed.
Feat 3: Once Gravity Suit is aquired along with Speedbooster, Samus is able to trend lava at mach speed. Note that lava is 100,000 times the viscosity of water.

Durability/Endurance:
Probably Samus' greatest asset. Samus is equipped with a power suit created by the Chozojin, an advanced and highly intelligent race that transcend humanity over many millienium. Even though her basic armament is tough, it isn't until she comes to her upgrades that she's basically a walking fortress.

Feat 1: With the Gravity Suit, Samus is able to trend the lowest depth of the ocean, sustaining no damage from the extreme pressure.
Feat 2: With the Varia Suit, Samus is able to take the severity of extreme heat and cold, along with acid.
Feat 3: With the Gravity Suit, Samus is able to trend lava. Lava is known for reaching temperature 700?C to 1200?C. It is speculated that Norfair's lava is hotter than any actual recorded lava pits.
Feat 4: With Phazon Suit, Samus is able to trend the ever-dangerous Phazon ionizing radiation. One-time suit.
Feat 5: With Light Suit, Samus is able to completely nullify the acidic atmosphere and corrosive effects of the water of Dark Aether. Note that the Varia Suit, a suit capable of protecting her from extreme heat, wasn't even able to protect her from this. One-time suit.
Feat 6: Can take swipes from Kraid's claws, withstand a thrashing from Ridley and took attacks from herself on two occasion.
Feat 7: Survived a feeding from a Metroid.
Feat 8: Survived a full-powered Hyper Beam from Moterh Brain in her second form.
Feat 9: Gifted with Chozojin blood, Samus is able to survive the extremem gravity of the Chozojin's home planet.

Intellect:
Having been raised by the Chozojin, an ancient race of bird-like extra-terrestrial humanoids, she's likely learned a great deal of things from this superior race.

Fighting Skill:
On the battlefield, she's a genius. Her experience is vast as she's been used (not in a bad way) to dwarf planetary takeover on numerous occasion. She even manage to beat Mother Brain, a sentient computer. Using a power suit and an array of unique-to-suit skills, she's a highly skilled and versitile bounty hunter.

Note: She's trained under the Chozojin for about 11 years and the Federation Tactical Force for a couple of months.

Techniques/Powers:
Morph Ball - One of Samus' most recognizable upgrades is the Morph Ball. This upgrade lets Samus morph into an armored ball with a diameter of approximately 1 meter. At this size, she is able to roll into small spaces that can't be normally reached, and avoid some enemies with greater ease (since becoming smaller decreases the chance of getting hit).
Morph Ball Bomb - This upgrade allows Samus to lay small energy bombs on the ground. When they explode, they do not hurt Samus, but can damage enemies, and blow up small hidden passageways made out of Sandstone and Talloric Alloy. They can even be used to activate switches, and propel Samus into the air (called a "Bomb Jump")
Power Bomb - Nicknamed "Mini-nukes" This upgrade allows Samus to lay a larger Bomb on the ground that, when detonated, releases a large concussive blast that can destroy such materials as Denzium and Bendezium.
Boost Ball - This upgrade allows Samus to charge up the Morph Ball to release bursts of speed, allowing her to climb half-pipes, cross bridges that collapse upon contact, and, in Metroid Prime 2: Echoes, destroy small enemies.
Spring Ball - This upgrade allows Samus to jump while in Morph Ball form. This allows Samus access to several new areas and eliminates the need for usual bomb jumping.
Force Ball - It covers Samus in a green aura and allows her to do much damage to Metroid Prime as well as other enemies when the Morph Ball collides with it.
Combat Visor - The combat visor mode provides Samus with all the information she needs for battle and navigation by projecting a HUD (Heads-Up Display) on the inside of the helmet lens. This visor mode includes: a targeting reticle, 3D map, radar readout, energy reserves readout (showing Samus how much more damage she can take), an external threat assessment gauge (designed to warn Samus of environmental dangers such as radioactivity), missile reserves display, and selected visor and beam weapon information.
Scan Visor - This important visor lets Samus scan enemies and bosses, to discover their weak spots, and other features of the environment, such as trees or computers, etc., in order to uncover information in the form of logbooks and morphology.
Thermal Visor - The Thermal Visor allows Samus to track targets by their heat signatures: blues and blacks are indicative of cold temperatures, yellows and whites indicate sources of great heat. The Thermal Visor is most useful to Samus in low lighting and poor weather conditions. However, it can also be used to track some cloaked enemies.
X-Ray Visor - The X-Ray Visor allows Samus to see through many materials, see invisible platforms, see in the dark, and track spectral entities, but also reduces her view and makes it a bit confusing. With it, Samus's skeleton is also visible through the arm cannon. Many mechanoids can cause interference with the X-Ray Visor's normal operation.
Power Beam - Approximately 0.3 meters in length, the Power Beam is integrated into Samus' suit and, as was the rest of her suit, designed by the Chozo. Though usually the weakest of Samus' armaments, the semiautomatic weapon has a high rate of fire and limitless ammunition. When used in conjunction with the Charge Beam, the Power Beam can be energized to unleash a more powerful blast. In the early games, it is usually fired in small bursts.
Charge Beam - The Charge Beam itself is not a weapon, but when coupled with other beam weapons, the Charge Beam becomes a force to be reckoned with. This device allows Samus to charge up her currently armed beam weapon, increasing its power and sometimes adding additional effects (burning, freezing, etc.).
Spazer/Wide Beam - It allows Samus' Power Beam to split into three rays instead of one energy ball, allowing her Power Beam blasts to cover a larger area.
Ice Beam - In the 2D Metroid games, this weapon has a medium rate of fire and can instantly freeze enemies, turning them into temporary platforms which can support Samus' weight. In the Metroid Prime series, the Ice Beam (replaced by the Dark Beam in Echoes) has a slow rate of fire but does a large amount of damage and can leave enemies frozen and defenseless to other attacks. A frozen enemy that is hit with a Missile will shatter and instantly die, unless the enemy is a boss
Wave Beam - It has the ability to go through walls and is made up of pure electricity energy waves. The projectile turns back and forth in a path shaped like a sine wave, hence the name "Wave Beam". This odd trajectory actually makes it easier to hit enemies that would otherwise dodge other beam shots.
Plasma Beam - It shoots a straight, thick beam capable of passing through multiple enemies, thus making it one of the most useful beams for combat. In Prime, the beam is changed into a molten cannon, and is very useful for melting ice and defeating ice-based enemies such as Sheegoths. It can set enemies on fire or incinerate them completely.
Annihilator Beam - A beam created by combining Light and Dark energy into a sort of sonic emission. Practically, it is very powerful, homes in on enemies (whether locked onto them or not), and fires much more quickly than the Light or Dark Beams.
Hyper Beam - Samus acquires the Hyper Beam from Mother Brain when a large Metroid takes energy from Mother Brain and recharges her Power Suit. It replaces all the other beams in Samus' inventory, and is immensely powerful. It can pass through walls and enemies, and destroys obstacles that are impenetrable by other beams. The projectile looks like the charged-up Plasma Beam, but it flashes different colors.
Omega Cannon - Samus aquires the Omega Cannon while fighting Gorea's 2nd Phase. It is the only weapon that can damage it. When fired, it unleashes a powerful, slow-moving blast of energy which erupts into a powerful explosion upon contact with anything. The extremely powerful weapon is abhorred by the Alimbics due to its destructive nature.
Missiles - Normal, highly compact, missiles.
Super Missiles - Missiles that have the power of five regular missiles.
Seeker Missiles - Shoots off five missiles at once.
Ice Spreader - This projectile coats a large area in ice upon impact, freezing enemies and dealing considerable damage.
Darkburst - Nicknamed "mini Black Hole" the Darkburst is a small black ball of compressed Dark energy launches out of Samus's Arm Cannon, after a short while it rapidly expands in a small explosion to look like a miniature black hole, sucking in the particles of an enemy and throwing them into the poisonous atmosphere of Dark Aether.
Sunburst. - Much like the Darkburst, a large white ball launches out of Samus's Arm Cannon, acting like a miniature sun, it frys any enemies in the area ending with a spectacular explosion of light energy. Its only setback is its slow travel time, making it ideal for stationary or slow-moving enemies only.
Sonicboom - A wall of energy is fired at the speed of sound destroying everything in it's path. Upon contact with a wall or foe the speed and force of the wall of energy distorts the light in the local area to resemble a pane of warped broken glass. The immense amount of energy released by this attack instantly destroys the the target and tears apart the particles of other enemies caught in the immediate blast radius.
Murder Beam - The "Murder Beam" or the "SpaceTime Beam" are the player-given names for weapons that can be used in Super Metroid by exploiting a glitch. It allows the player to fire all beams at once, including both the Spazer and the Plasma Beam.
High Jump Boots - High Jump Boots (or Hi-Jump Boots) greatly increase the height of Samus' jumps.
Space Jump - This upgrade allows Samus to jump multiple times in the air.
Screw Attack - With this acquired, Samus' spin jump becomes a ball of lightning that can destroy most enemies on contact. Samus is almost completely invincible to enemies while executing this attack.
Speed Booster - This item allows Samus to increase the speed at which she dashes. After a brief warm up period while dashing, Samus begins to glow and leaves a trail of afterimages. This indicates that the Speed Booster is working to its full effect and that Samus is now at maximum dashing velocity, allowing her to destroy many enemies simply by running into them.
Spinesparking - While at maximum speed, Samus can go into a crouch, storing the energy gathered from Boosting. The player can then press jump and a direction to launch Samus in a straight trajectory.
Grapple Beam - The Grapple Beam is used in Super Metroid and the Metroid Prime games to attach onto and swing from magnetic points in the environment. Similar to a grappling hook, this ability is used to reach areas higher and farther than those normally accessible.

Gear:
Power Suit - The Power Suit is the most basic item in the Metroid series. It was created for the protagonist, Samus Aran, by the mystic Chozo as a modification of their own seldom-used weaponry. It was created to be modular and adaptable.
Varia Suit - The Varia Suit changes Samus' appearance, reduces damage, and provides other benefits that vary between games. Stops damage from superheated and sub-zero rooms. Allows absorption of blue X parasites.
Gravity Suit - The Gravity Suit retains the same physical shape as the regular Power Suit, but certain parts of the suit are colored blue or purple. When combined with the Varia Suit, the Gravity Suit features the same large globes on the shoulders. It provides an additional armor bonus (usually 25%), and allows Samus to travel through water unhindered, as if traveling on land. In Metroid Fusion, and Metroid: Zero Mission, it also completely nullifies damage from lava pits.
Light Suit - This upgrade is also unique to Metroid Prime 2: Echoes. It is a Fusion of Chozo and Luminoth battlesuit technology. It provides Samus complete protection from the acidic atmosphere and corrosive effects of the water on Dark Aether. The four orbs on the chest light up upon entering the Dark World, probably it is the source of the Light Suit's sheild to the corrosive effects of Dark Aether. It also increases Samus' shielding so she is impervious to many enemies and allows her to travel on shafts of light as well.

History
Stats
Species: Human; was infused with Chozo blood as a child, later with Metroid DNA as an adult.
Occupation: Space-faring bounty hunter, often employed by the Galactic Federation.
Sex: Female
Age: Unknown (appears to be a young adult. However, in the e-manga, Samus is 3 in the year 2000 of the Cosmos Calendar; the original Metroid is set in the year 20X5).
Homeworld: Presumably born on Earth colony K-2L, raised on Zebes.
Hair color: Officially blonde, sometimes depicted as green, violet, or auburn in older materials.
Eye color: Officially blue, sometimes depicted as green.
Height: 1.90m (6'3")
Weight: 90kg (198lbs, 6oz)

Samus was the daughter of two colonists (sometimes known as Rodney and Virginia Aran) on the Galactic Federation colony world K-2L. When she was 3 years old, the species known only as the Space Pirates, led by Ridley, destroyed the colony, leaving Samus (with her pet, Ponchi) as the sole survivor. A pair of Chozo (Old Bird and Grey Voice) picked up the distress signal from the colony, and took Samus with them to their home on planet Zebes. They selflessly raised and loved her as their own, infusing her with their blood for her to gain their natural powers and resistance to the planet?s enviroments.

Edit:
-All of those feats were done in Samus' various suits.

-Samus can combine her missiles with a number of her beams to form a more destructive version of the beam.

-Samus can combine her power beam with the wave, ice, and plasma beams to form more powerful versions of them.

-Samus has the Crystal Flash: A recover move used to fully replenish all of her health. The prerequisites for this technique are 10 or more Missiles, 10 or more Super Missiles, 11 or more Power Bombs, and 50 or less energy (with empty reserve tanks). Once the technique is initiated, she is invaulnerable until it's completed.

Yay, a Samus write up.

Ok, it should be noted that all of those feats were with her chozo suit.
Then you could add a list of base feats gathered from both the manga and Zero Mission.

Edit: You could also add that she can combine some of her beams into one attack that has the properties of all of them, instead of seperate attacks.

The Chozo suit? Are you referring to her Varia Suit or Power Suit?

And Zero Mission wasn't incuded because the author decided that it wasn't as significant as other scenarios. And I've never read the Metroid manga, and I'm unsure if the author has either.

I mean any of the suits. The write up shows what Samus is capable with the aid of the suit, but doesn't try to guage her capabilities outside of it.

It seems the author did read the manga, as some things in the history part of the write up come from there. If you want it as a referance to help make your write up more complete, I can try and find a link.

Edit: And it might be better in your write up if you described which beams she combines. I beleive it was the power, wave, and ice.
I'm not trying to be a pain, just being critical so you can have the most accurate write up.

-Those feats being in the suit is a given, but I'll specify it anyway.
-I'll add in more combination attacks, incuding the ones you listed.
-Thanks for the manga link, and I'll check it out.

Well, since you brought it up in my thread, maybe you should add the Crystal Flash in there as well.

Do we add stuff from games that are not out yet?
They have revealed some of the powers in the new games.

I'd wait until it's released. That's just my preference anyway.
