In a cylindrical room where the corner of the seventh floor would be lies Kiri's dwelling place. A good portion of the wall is made of mostly glass, reveiling a lovely view of the grounds below. Heavy black curtains with various hand-stitched patters upon them drape over the windows during the night and are held back by chain straps during the day. Despite being of an awkward shape in a quadrilateral building the room is rather big, managing to fit a queen bed-sized love sack, Japanese Kotatsu and various beenie-bags in it as well as Kiri's horde of material goods. The love sack is neon green with various blankets ranging from hand-made to consumer-whore purchases, creating a lovely little nest against the curved wall of the room. Next to it are piles of big black trunks, some of which still aren't fully unpacked, and are stuffed with clothes, anime and snack foods. In the center of the room sits the kotatsu- which, for those of you who don't know, are tables with heaters under them and a blanket sticking out and around from just below the surface. The table is a sturdy oak, framed by a dark blue comferter. Instead of an eletric heater that you would find in the center of most tables of its kind, is an enchanted Brazier. It blazes heat in the winter, though in the summer it changes to a type of air conditioning system that cools the whole room. As for the beenie bags, it would appear that Kiri has a fixation with them as she has covers for each of the seven ranging through every color of the rainbow. If this wasn't enough to make the students think their teacher has a mind of a sixteen year old, the walls are coverd in posters and wall scrolls from any and every anime and manga imaginable, stretching over the ceiling and partway to the floor, if the fuzzy purple rug wouldn't get in its way. The professor's cats parade around the room at will, some staying in the shelter of their own secluded world while others enjoy the castle. And if this wasn't enough, wait until you see Kiri's sad excuse of the educational part of the room. In twelve cardboard boxes near the windows of the room are the scattered papers and notes including paper work and scheduling from the last few years of class plans. Though a normal teacher may faint at the site, this crude method of 'organization' seems to work for the spunky teacher, as she brings in more and more students each with godly reports every year.

Kiri entered her office, or lack there of, and hopped over the hordes of junk littering the floor. Her animals where strewn about the room; Frodo curled up on a beenie-bag, Alya hanging sassily off the table, ******** spazing out as usual, running around her feet as she entered the room, Yaoi gazing out the window and Figoro being the most curious of all. He was sitting on a stack of papers, and pawing to turn the pages of one of Kiri's steamy romance manga's. Kiri chuckled at the sight of her creatures, and pondered where Renji had snuck off to in the wee hours of the morning, before scooping up Figaro from his studies. "Figaro was a little kitty cat, a little kitty cat, a little kitty cat." she sung to the kitten, who looked up at the woman, put out at being taken away from the book. "Figaro was a little kitty cat, no porn for kitty~" she continued, and kissed the animal on the tip of the nose adoringly. She kicked the lid off a box near by containing a pile of clothes. Kiri sat her cat on her head and reached into the box, pulling out an array of dark clothing. She had a new horde of students coming into class today, and a first impression was always the strongest, so she decided to go with punk. That way the children would learn to fear her rather then think she was an empty minded ditz the first time they saw her.

Kiri striped from her baggy clothing. Her first layer was black fishnet tights that she used as sleeves and a bra over her normal one. Next came a ragged black tank-top that had almost no back and cut a little short over her navel, with the Pink Floyd logo over her chest. The shirts made the angel wings tattoo fully visible, the ink currently in a state of calm and fluttering softly around her shoulder blades. She put on a variety of chain necklaces and bangles over her wrists before hunting down a giant studded black belt to cover up her stomach. She wore a pair of ragged blue hip hugers with holes in the knees and frayed bottoms, and a pair of steel toes boots to tie it off. She switched Figoro's position to sit on her shoulder before reaching back into the box and pulled out a metal rod, which she snapped against the wall. It extended into a body length mirror, which she used to inspect her image. Her bangs extended down to her chin where as the hair in back was only an inch long, which she flipped into intimidating spikes. The dazzling blue, green and pink streaks in her black/brown hair stood out as usual, and she stared back into her emerald eyes as she pondered what piercings she should use to her advantage today. She decided to put in two bar-bells in her left eyebrow, her lip ring, four on her right ear and two on her left. She didn't like to have this much in at once, but she had an urge to scare the children today and went with it.

Figaro pawed at her earring that had a fish image swimming inside the silver spike that curled around her ear. Kiri grinned and continued her song. "Figaro saw a little bitty fish, a little bitty fish, a little bitty fish." She picked up the kitten and put him into her arms. "Figaro saw a little bitty fish, no food for kitty." She nuzzled her pet and looked over at the clock. Classes started soon, but she had an escape route to her classroom and her materials where already on her desk. So, she spun around and flopped back on her Love Sack, immediately being bombarded by her animals. "Gah!! Kitties, I can't be here for this long!" She whined, but it was too late. Frodo was on her thigh, ******** was attacking her left ankle, Alya flopping on her stomach with her paws draping over either side of her neck while her head was resting on her bosom's, Yaoi was sniffing her hand, Figaro was curled up against her face and licking her cheek, and Renji had somehow managed to get back into the room and licked the exposed flesh on her stomach. Kiri gave a half hearted giggle, before letting her eyes droop in defeat and slowly gazing off into space.

Kiri had finally made her way up to her quarters, sexy teacher in hand. "Damn stairs." She grumbled as she kicked off her boots upon entering the room. She flopped down on her bed, taking Domini with her, and proceeded to entwine herself ontop of the brunette. After making herself comfterble, she snuggled herself into the crook of Domini's neck, taking in the scent of the woman, and falling into sleep herself.

Domini shot into wakefulness and sat up, wide eyed and breathing hard. The last image from the nightmare was still etched in her mind and she saw it everywhere she looked. She squeezed her eyes shut, then opened them again, but still the gruesome picture remained, as vivid as the day it happen. She shook her head, then winced as it hit the ceiling......Wait, the ceiling? She looked up, shrieking as she realized she was floating.

Kiri woke up as soon as Domini moved, startled, and slid off the woman. This allowed Domini to float to the ceiling. "God damn it, Alair screwed up the charm!" Kiri growled as Domini let out a shreik. Kiri stood up on the bed and jumped weakly a few times before leaping up into the air and catching the disgruntled teacher by the ankle. She pulled Domini back down with her and quickly moved her so when Kiri landed, she would be stradling the teacher. After they bounce to a stop on the bed, Kiri laughed nervously and was about to appologize when she stoped. Fear was radiating wildly off the woman. Kiri scooted down so she was sitting in between Dom's thighs before pulling the woman into her arm. She held her strongly, one arm around her waist and the other on her shoulder, stroaking her softly and resting Domini's head onto the crook of her neck. She kissed her temple soothingly. "Shh, I don't know what's wrong but it'll be alright." She said in a soft, comferting voice, still stroaking the woman calmingly.

Dom struggled to regain her breath and composure as she was pulled back down. Unfortunately, she was never very good. Maybe it wasn't a good thing that she talked to Chad about her brother. Doing so had awakened the memories in her, bringing back nightmares she had buried deep in her thoughts almost a decade ago. It was then that she was aware of Kiri holding her and comforting her. She buried her face in the woman's shoulder and, for the second time that day, she cried.

Inwardly, Kiri was a little shocked. She had never seen this woman cry before in all the years she'd known her, and nor had Alair from what she knew. Outwardly however, she stubbornly refused to let that bother her. She held Domini tighter, pressing her against Kiri's own body. There was no flirting, no sign of sarcastic remark, but simply an aura of comforting warmth Kiri seemed to emite. She shifted her hand to stroak Domini's hair, moving it out of her face so it didn't stick to the sweet tears falling down. In an act of compassion, Kiri kissed away the salty liquid falling from the corner of Domini's eye before brushing away hair from the other side of the woman's face. Kiri softly pushed Domini's head so the tears would flow onto Kiri's neck and as she kissed her temple, wispering more words of comfort and care.

Domini cried for a few minutes more, then lifted her head. Wiping away the tears with the heels of her hands, she laughed embarrasedly. "I'm sorry. I didn't mean to become hysterical." She said quietly, continuing to wipe away the tears that just wouldn't stop coming. She hid her face in her hands for a moment, then looked back up at Kiri.

Kiri allowed the woman to draw away, but just barely. She stared the woman in the eye for a moment before making up her mind. Kiri cupped Domini's jaw in her hand and kissed her. It was soft, warm, and for once in a long, long time, not in the least bit sexual on Kiri's part. The warmth only lasted a split second though before Kiri re-captured Domini in her arms. "Shut up." She said quietly. "Knowing you, you would not cry unless it was absolutely necissary, thus it's not hysterical, and thus- just shut up and cry if you need to." Kiri rubbed her cheak against Domini's soothingly.

Dom closed her eyes and allowed the tears to flow. She licked her lips, tasting the salty liquid on her tounge. She loved the taste, even though she didn't cry very often. A few minutes passed until she lifted her head again, the tears finally slowing, though not stopping completely. "Thank you Kiri. I needed that."

Kiri smiled and whiped the remaining tears from Domini's eyes. "No problem love, I'm Alair's human teddy bear so why can't I be yours too?" She smiled softly before kissing a newly falling tear from the corner of Domini's eye.

Domini smiled back. "Love," she repeated. "I haven't been called that in years. My brother used to call me that. Before," she halted, barely controling a new wave of grief. She knew she had brought it upon herself. She should have dealt with the emotions and other such things when her brother had died, but instead she had buried them.

Kiri blinked, oblivious to what could have made Domini sad yet again. She had a guess though, and hugged the woman again to comfort her. Kiri kissed Domini's cheak again before voicing a friendly sentiment. "If you need to talk about it I have open ears , but if you don't I wont pry. Just don't hurt yourself while doing it."
PostPosted: Sun Aug 13, 2006 6:07 pm

Domini sighed. She should talk about it again. She needed to get over this, and this was the only way to do so. "11 years ago, my brother was killed by Death Eaters. That's why I was talking about crying earlier. It had nothing to do with anything Chad did or said."

Kiri was blatenly surprised by how bluntly Dom had said it. Eleven years ago? Let me guess."And you hid it away didn't you. You hid it until he brought it up, so you lied, it was his fault. But," Kiri corrected herself before Dom could protest on the man's behalf. "That was probably for the best. If you just lock something away, it'll keep you from truely being able to live a free life until you let it out, no matter how you try to fool yourself. I should know. So please?" she pulled Domini's head back so she could look her in the eye. "If there's anything else, say it. Dont lock your self up, it's not healthy. Tell me if there's anything I or someone else can do to help you." she whisperd, before kissing the brunettes wet rose-colored lips again.
