remaking movies we have no point doing...seems new line cinema has picked up the right for battle Royale....i highly doubt it will be made and if it actually happens man how watered down do you think it will be

God, that would be terrible. First I think it should be some sort of rule that you cannot remake a movie until it is at least 50 years old. Seems that remakes are being popped out here and there and everywhere, and even sometimes when the movie has only been out for 10 years! It's absurd! Plus, can we please leave Battle Royale alone? It is already a bloody enough movie, what, are americans like "oh let's see if we can top it and make it more gorey and bloody?" Stupid, ridiculous, obcene.

Remakes are generally a waste of celluloid, in my opinion. Why can't they just admire the original for what it is, and not just think, "Oh, yeah, but we can make an even better version" - or whatever it is these misguided people think. It's one thing to take a basic premise and build a new way of portraying that story - which is how Shakespeare, for one, gets to be the root of a lot of modern movies and plays - but to just take the thing wholesale and remake it, which seems to be the fashion these days... gonk
If they remake Battle Royale, then someone is just going to have to die. I mean seriously blood all over the carpet and walls, even the f-ing ceiling, die.
