(If anyone wants to just drop by and by Arora a visit, Maeve had posted the adress and date of a playdate she had aranged with Zhai incase anyone else would like to join the Fae. So you can feel free to just ring the door bell.)

Arora was laying on the hardwood floor of the living room. She was slightly depressed that all the shades had to be pulled tight today. Her mother had made a "playdate" for her. What was she 5?!? Arora was fairly upset about it, but the fact that it was with a younger Fae who didn't have the ablity to go out as much made her feel bad about her frustration. Arora was blessed to be health, she needed be more thankful and show her happiness by being kind to others. Arora looked over by the special gift she had prepaired for the little fae's arival then went back to drawing.

Meanwhile in the kitchen SJ and Lexy sat at the table their heads moving from side to side. They were watching Maeve dart about the kitchen. She was rushing around trying to get everything ready. She was rather limited on what she could serve as snacks do to the needs of the young visitor, but she had backed up some cookies just in case others came as well. She eventually turned to the two boys at the table, a frustrated look in her eyes. "Will you two jsut go run off now! I told you this day is for Arora and her firends."

The two boys looked at each other and laughed. One of them mumbled, "yeah right Arora doesn't have friends..."

Maeve didn't know which one had said it, though they weren't even biologically realated, or even the same species the two boys were like twins, never apart and almost exactly alike. "Thats it both of you out! Matrim please go out and play with the boys...shoo now both of you." Maeve hurried them out the door. She looked like a 50s house wife today, something very unusual for her, but she was determined to make a good impression. Matrim, a medium sized Rhilo came out of the kitchen and followed the boys out the door.

Arora looked up. Her heart jumped a bit. She was starting to get nervous. She tried to calm herself. It's just a child, whats there to be embaressed by.

Maeve ran to the door and quickly brushed her hands on her skirt...god she couldn't believe she was wearing a skirt. She took a deep breath and opened the door. She saw the intresting assortment of people at the door. Judging by the long robes she assumed the small figure on the unicorn was Novena. However she mistakenly took the other figure in the robe for Zhai. She spoke to the one she thought was Zhai. "Come in, Come in! " She had a large smile on her face. "It's much cooler and refreshing inside. I hope your jounry went well."

Maeve blushed from embaressment. Here she was so excited to make a good impression on others and she screwed up who she was making the impression on. How could she be so foolish, since she herself was a shapeshifter...well a ware almost, more like wolf tha...this was not the time to think about her self. "I'm so sorry, Can I offer you something to drink, you must be thirsty."

Arora was watching the strange group as they came in. The beautiful women that appeared as the unicorn took her back. Arora awed at her, ignoring the child for a moment. Then she realized the child had been talking to her. Quickly arora stood up and walked over to the younger child. She leaned down to be at eye level and then smiled brightly at the younger girl. "My name is Arora, and I'm a Fae like you." Then she offered out her hand to shake. She was actually suprised at how easily she had just aproached the younger child.

Maeve showed Zhai into the kitchen, which had a clear view into the living room through a big archway. She went and got Zhai a glass of ice water. "Do you know what Novena might like to drink?" She asked as she was pouring some juice in a glass for Arora.

Arora touched her hair as the girl complimented her. She never really thought of her self as very pretty. Her dark colored check blushed a shade of pink. "Why thank you. You are quite elegant looking yourself. You carry yourself very well for one so young." She was indeed impressed by the little girls speaking. Though a little choppy she really knew what she wanted to say. As far as Aurion being her cousin she was shocked, she hadn't anticipated that. "So you are related to Aurion? Do you two get along well?" Arora did not want to seem to excited at the mention of him, but her checks redened a bit more.

"Well juice it is then." Maeve poured a second glass for Novena. It was a slightly smaller plastic glass with a griped material around it, easier for small hands to hold onto. Maeve never really worried about spills at all, the nice hardwood floor made it easy enough to clean. "Arora actually has no excuss but it seems hard for her to get out either, she's just so darn shy I don't know what to do half the time." Maeve proceded into the living room to give the girls the glasses. "Here you are sweetie, I hope you like the juice." Maeve handed Novena the glass getting her first good look at the girl. She really was pale, a sharp contrast to Arora's own browned skin.

Arora took her glass from her mother. "Thank you mom. Mom this is Novena, she's really nice." Arora was glad for the chage of topic. She was far to embaressed to discuss Aurion with the little girl.

Then Arora gave a bit of a start. "I almost forgot I have a gift for you Novena."

Arora was taken back by what the younger girl pulled out of her pocket. Her eyes swelled up with tears. She took a deep breathe, she did not want her mother knowing about her crush. But this meant that Aurion had not forgotten about her. She was so happy inside. She took the pendent from Novena. "oh it's beautiful. You must thank him for me please." Arora's voice cracked a bit as she tried to talk as calm as possible.

Then she went over to the corner of the room. She picked up a medium sized flower pot and brought it over to the litte girl and set it in front of her. There was a sunflower in the pot the stood to the girls chin. "This is my favorite flower. I figured since you can't go outside very much I wanted you to have something to brighten up the indoors. It should grow fine with a sun lamp, otherwise your mother can set it out side for part of the day and bring it in at night for you. I really love sunflowers. I hope you like it too."

Arora held the pendant tightly in her handsd and bit her lip. She really hoped the girl liked the flower. She new not everyone liked plants, but Arora still didn't understand how or why. She would die with out her garden.

Arora and Maeve both jumped in shock simultaniously letting out a small yelp. Maeve had not expected the woman to vanish all magic like...that was just not something she was use to. Sure she knew people with magic, but to just warp out, that was kinda creepy. But Zhai seemed nice, and she was sure Nuvena would be fine. She was curious about the boy she mentioned, wasn't that one of Arora's friends.

Arora covered her mouth after her shock. Though her eyes bulged a bit looking the not so young of a man over. My had he grown. And was it possible he was getting more attactive?!

Maeve turned around and saw a young man standing where he hadn't been moments before. She jumped again, letting out the same yelp. "Oh my young man you scared me!...you must be Aurion, the one that Zhai mentioned yes?" Maeve was looking the boy over, she did not much aprove of Arora oggling him like that. Being boy crazy never did any good, and Maeve should know, since she herself always had been.

Arora nodded her head in response to her mothers questioning the boy, though was still to shocked to know what to say. What if she said the wrong thing...that would be utterly embarresing now.

Maeve smiled and nodded at the children who obviously came from a very different world than her own. This Gaia has all sorts of types. She chuckled when she thought back many years ago when she didn't believe in dragons...then she met Rime. "Well good luck to you then Aurion, I wish you luck with ruling...until then would you like me to get you some juice?"
Arora chuckled a bit at her mothers ignorance. Not that she had been ready for the prince to appear before her either, but she figured she had seen more just in her dreams than her mother could ever fathium. What would Maeve do if she ever did something like the boys did that one night. She shivered thinking about that. Not to mention if her mother knew that a man would appear in her room when ever she called apon his feather.

Arora felt the charm in her hand again. Opening her palm to look at it she had an idea. She leaned down a bit to look the younger girl in the eyes. "Well Novena you were questioning the charm, would you like to see why it is so wonderful?" There was a wild playfull smile on Arora's face.

Watching her daughter with these children made Maeve fell warm inside. She could never recall her daughter ever seeming so happy and at ease.
