Uhh... Well...
Otay, I'll just talk about online friends first. Than build on to Girlfriends/Boyfriends.
Okay well, I think its good when you meet a good trustfull person online. It gives you a chance to meet different people. When you start to know more about that person, its good because your not basing your relationship. On looks, friends, social statis, money, or anything else. Your getting to know the person for who they realy are.
Sure there are some bad people out there, but that doesnt account for all of the people online. I know plenty of friend of mine who have realy good friends online. I my self have at least 4. One I have known for 3 or 4 years now. One almost 2 years.
Now about dating online... well it depends on the two people intentions. I mean if it is just 2 realy good friends, that if they were intraduced in real life they would go out. I figure thats fine. Unless your cybering or somthing, thats just nasty. Its also wrong. But if its just a person who you happen to like in that way, for who they are. I geuss thats okay, because you can't help what you feel about someone.

i think it's perfectly fine... i mean u like ppl for who they are, so they wouldn't judge eachother by looks... i think it's good. it helps u look for the right 1...

It probably isn't the best idea... Like Thrill said, you should probably start out as friends first. Also, if you do plan to date online, you should use a webcam, so you can tell if they are who they really say they are. (For example, to make sure she is your age, and not some creepy ***** molester, or a ten-year-old...)
