As everybody knows, I have way too many lions for one sane person. Therefore, with DED's permission, the little blue boy from Abasi and Jalara's breeding will be going to someone else. However, the person I want this cub to go to must be a RP-er. Which is why I'm holding this event.

The Event will run from 06/22/06 to 06/26/06

I would care for the entries to be at least two paragraphs long, spelled correctly with proper grammar. I am a stickler I know.

You get to choose the setting, as long as he is a baby. As well as name, personality and such.

With all that said, you can now post.

well....here's meh entry... i hope you like it....

A small blue cub trecked through the empty pridelands. The male cub, by the name of Sanoshi wandered aimlessly through the land. Having no set destination in mind, he trudged toward the north. Not at all knowing where he was, he stopped at a stream for a drink. As he was lapping up the water, a voice behind him made him jump.
" What is a young cub like you doing wandering around alone? Especally in this area of the pride lands""
Snapping his head around, he noticed a bird, bright and colorful with long tail feathers, looking down on him.
"That is none of you concern, bird." He snapped as he turned and began to walk away.
"Such rudeness," The bird chided. "Not even introducing youself to a lady."
The bird flew down and landed on the rock in front of him. " My name is Keyome, and you are?"
The cub sighed. " Sanoshi, now leave me be."
Keyome eyed the cub as he stormed away.
"A warning," She called. "Do watch yourself, this area is very dangerous."
Flicking his tail in her direction, he called back over his shoulder,
"I'll keep that in mind."
Keyome shook her head.
"Such and ego on him, that will get him killed." She murmured to herself, and then called to him once more. "Do watch your self Sanoshi, heed my warning, things aren't always as they apper"
Sanoshi followed the stream, hoping to find a place to sleep. Keyome's words still ringing in his ears.
"What on earth could she mean? This place hardly seems dangerous."
"Thats what you think."A deep voice rang out.
Snapping his head around, Sanoshi came face to face with three demonic lions. With eyes as red as blood and fur as black as the night sky. Backing away slowly, Sanoshi looked for a way to escape.
'Drat,' He thought. 'No holes to escape through...'
As the three lions approached, he got a better look at them. A large male and two females.
"Oh darling," The larger of the two females purred. "He looks sooo yummy.... let's eat him"
"In time my pet." The male responded, nuzzling her softly.
Sanoshi sighed.
'Great' He thought. 'What in blazes am i going to do? If I don't think of something quickly, I'm going to be dinner!'
Thinking fast, Sanoshi questioned the male.
"So... the king...is it you or the other male here?"As Sanoshi finished his sentence, the male became enraged.
" WHAT?!" He roared. "There is no other male in my lands!"
The females nodded, glaring at the cub.
" So you are the King? That's not what the other male, by the rock out cropping, told me. He said he was king, and gave me premission to threk through here."
The male's eyes slitted. "Oh really? Well, let's go have a look girls. Cub, you are free to go, but if I ever catch you in my lands again, I will kill you."
As Sanoshi watched the three lions charge of into the distance, he sighed
"Thank heavens they weren't that bright..." Giving one last glace in their direction, he climbed over the rocks and headed out of that dark land and to a new adventure, and hopefully, a home, and a pride.
