"The Divine Medium who has Descended upon the Mortal World"
Avatar is an anime influenced american cartoon series created by Nickelodeon. It follows the story of a young boy monk, Aang, and his quest to save the world as the Avatar - the only person in existance who can master all four elements of water, earth, fire and air.
It has an extensive character cast and goes deeper than most Nickelodeon cartoons, in that it not only follows the tale of the hero, but also that of the antagonist, Prince Zuko, who is hunting Aang to give him to the Fire Lord Ozai (who is also Zuko's father). Each episode allows a glimpse into the life and motives of the young villian, creating a rare insight into a villain's development and allowing the audience to sympathise with both Zuko's and Aang's plight.
The show is a very light hearted and funny series, with great (if cliche) characters and a nice new spin on the old storyline of elemental magic and one man to save the world.

I saw half an episode on Nickelodeon and i intented to keep watching but forgot to. sweatdrop I know Jade loves it and espescially that blind girl. I might watch it, it sounds good thanks Ace.

avatar is such a good series but i've only watched up to episode 12 i think.
AS ace said how the show looks into prince zuko's life as well as Aang makes the show really good.
(is Aang the right spelling of his name?)

Immortal_Punk curse you and being able to watch you tube properly! Ha ha!! xp I've watched most things on you tube now. I'm not going to make the list but heaps I have watched on you tube. I spend waaaaaaaaay to much time on the computer watching anime, Take for example I watched 19 episodes of DN angel today. But there is nothing else to do as my mum and dad aren't on holidays yet. Oh well I'm not complaining xp . I'm going to though when I go blind, but i will be a blind happy, anime fan. cool

LOOOONG story...well...not really I'm just not bothered to tell it. I was there when it happened, it was at my house, and if you guys want to borrow the series I have it on my computer.
It's a great series and I love the Blind Bandit, she the koolest characetr, I really love her. Avatar is a good series as mentioned many times, My gues is that it's supossed to continue for four seasons, *insert correct word or words here to complete sentence* wind, water, earth and fire
