I'm pretty sure this doesn't fit anywhere else, sorry if it does..

Want to start a series, but want other opinions first? Need something to watch but ran out of ideas? Ask away here. :3

On the other hand, seen tons of obscure anime and just have to push some of them on us? Then yeah. Do that too.

Personally, in my non-P2P-userness, I've become a little attached to YouTube since it seems to work now. I'm interested in starting Kiba and Meine Liebe. Has anyone seen these who can tell me how good/bad they are? Also, I know Kiba is a children's thing (one of those "for use in selling card game" anime) but what's Meine Liebe's age rating?

I've been thinking of starting to watch Mushishi, Dokuro-chan and Jigoku Shoujo, but I'm not sure if they're worth waiting and wasting the space I have on my computer. @_@ I know there's a subforum for Dokuro-chan, but I don't want to look there yet since I'm scared of spoilers.

I've been thinking about Mushishi too, but I can't find the earlier episodes anywhere, so.. oh well.

I've been watching a short, 11-episode series called Jyu Oh Sei/Juuousei/Planet of the Beast King. I'm halfway through episode 5. It's a little slow, but it's very interesting. Sort of cliche plot but handled very nicely. Evil plants.

Jigoku Shoujo is tottally worth watching.

Yep, that's it. I was only thinking of suggesting good ones, but I guess it'd be good to warn us of what to stay away from too. 3nodding

Two in particular I want to throw out, see if theres any interest: Utawarerumono, and Higurashi no naku koro ni.

edit: yeah I'm blind

Kiba, children thing? what? O.o?

Its good. Its really not directed to children but more like teen+ audiences. It starts very unusual and has lots of action and fighting. I like it.

For more philosophical types, I'd recommend Mushishi.

Fantasy/SciFi: Ergo Proxy, Utawarerumono (its semi-historical), XxxHolic, Jigoku Shoujo, Noein, Fate/stay Night.

Comedies: Ouran Host Club, Pani Poni Dash, School Rumble

Shoujo: Nana, Paradise Kiss, Gokinjo Monogatari,
Magical girl: Magical Lyrical Girl Nanoha, Princess Tutu

Higurashi is good but it really is messed up.

Unfortunately, I can't give links...

Oh, really? I was so sure it was another Yu-Gi-Oh/Digimon type thing. Even better, then! Thanks for correcting me. :3

I suggest two:
Higurashi no Naku Koro ni
Jigoku Shoujo
Bokusatsu Tenshi Dokuro-chan

But of course, each person has their own opinion on what's good and what's bad, so suggestions aren't exactly trustworthy, now are they? : D

No, but.. but.. it makes sense, just go along with it! T___T

That's an interesting "two" you've got there, though. =p

Since the two I mainly push were already said, I'll try Gokusen

I don't know how popular it is, but I dont see people really talk about it..

It's about a future Yakuza head, who becomes a teacher (it's her dream). One of her students suspects something's weird with her too.. and stuff.. There's a live action too, which was first and also has more drama in it then the anime, they're both good though. People say it's a copy of GTO but they're not that similar.

I'll have to say Zero no Tsukaima...Its the best!
Also Fmp ( full metal panic) is a great anime its got every genre
like romance,comedy,sci-fi,action...etc.. heart

I would recommend Mahoraba: Heartful Days. It has a twist to your average romantic comedy with many interesting characters. Also, the art style is the best.

Rahxephon (It's Evangelion, except no Shinji, and better plot.)
Last Exile
Death Note (have not seen the anime yet, but have read the manga to vol 10 of 12 and it is excellent so far.)
