well i don't know what kind of meditation you were doing but If you are in the right environment and doing all the right things but can't seem to get it right, start daydreaming. sometimes your mind is too bussy to relax so you just have to let it ramble on and on and on and on sometimes till your in the right state. often losing your self in thought is close enough to meditation to launch yourself into it.

Meditation is really something that varies from person to person. Some people prefer laying down to sitting up. Some prefer silence while others like noise. Some will use music and some won't. And some people prefer to meditate in nature while others prefer indoors.
You really just need to experiment. Also, be sure your mind isn't too occupied at the time. Sometimes it's ok to meditate when you're worried but at other times it isn't.
I hope that'll help you and if you still have questions feel free to ask me.

I find that music helps me focus myself better for meditations. You could try listening to a music that effects the flower part of your brain.

Neither did I... but as for the meditation, you just need to experiment and find out what's best for you.

I got It at my local pagan store. They sell lots of pretty shiney gem stones ^-^ but they are also on e-bay... they are super neat. both geologicaly and otherwise.
