So... I finally wrote a song that doesn't suck, lyrics and all. But how do I remember the tune of it?!

sing it to yourself.... i dunno. that might help. i can usually remember mine cuz they sound similar to other songs, only not. sweatdrop

Make a small recording.
Or write it down with using music notes if you know how 3nodding

listen to it by making a recording and play it over like 10 times. then try to sing it back. if it doesn't work. do it over and over until you get it right.
or listen to it piece by piece then sing it back.
it usually works for me.
or you can put it on iTunes garage band then download it to your ipod and listen to it on repeat or something.... question

If the rythem is not to complicated then singin it a couple of times should be good enough 3nodding

Yeah, I'm in a band, and all you do is read it a couple of times.
Then get a cheap little recorder and record either the music you made or you singing it and listen to it.
It's really easy to remember it.
And if you can't remember it, then you have a problem.

um.. i remember songs by the rythm and patterns in the music... its kinda weird , my friend who is learning guitar doesnt really know how i see patterns when there arent any..... lol. hoped that helped.. TAPE RECORDER!
