I know this thread might never end up being noticed, being that it's in a subforum, so I'll just say now that I might make another one on the main page.
So, how tall are the Tallest?
How tall are they compared to a normal person?(As in, would an average 5'3" person freak out at their tallness?)
BTW the tallest human was 8 ft tall lyke ZOMG.

According to Steve Ressel, the show's director, Red and Purple stand in at an almighty tallness of six feet and five inches each. At that height, wouldn't they make great basketball players?

WOW!! they are tall!! i always thought that they were pretty short compared to us, and that the rest were REALLY short, but i guess not...
which brings us to the next question, HOW TALL ARE THE REST OF THE IRKENS?

Assuming the Tallests' height of 6 feet, 5 inches, and considering Zim to be perhaps 45% of that height (approximately 2 feet, 11 inches) we should assume that the average Irken is from 2'4" to almost 4'3" tall. This is just my assumption, and shouldn't be taken as the word of God. For only the Pirate Monkeys who brought us the Irken Invader know for sure how tall the average Irken is...

Yes, they were. But many other Invader ZIM fans refer to the cast and crew of the show as the Pirate Monkeys, as well. I happen to be one of those Invader ZIM fans that reguarly makes this reference.
It's nothing major. I just don't like saying "the cast and crew of Invader ZIM". To me "the Pirate Monkeys" sounds way cooler than just a cast and crew, wouldn't you agree?

the tallest's original height was actually 3 feet 5 inchs but all tallest under go "leadership" sugery to increase their hieght by 3 feet to make it more respectable to the rest of the irken race. so in the current they are 6 5, but as actual irkens they are 3 5.
jhonen says that the fact that they are increased by about half their normal size is supposed to mean they are half the leaders they are supposed to be.

That's as interesting to me as how the Tallest has only two fingers, while all other Irkens have two fingers and a thumb. It is said that part of the leadership ritual involves surgically removing the thumbs, to prove that the Tallest can rule the Irken Empire without opposing thumbs.
Where did you get your information on Red and Purple anyways, TheXemoXprince? From Jhonen directly? I am honestly interested...

I am honestly interested... me and him used to email back and forth but i got lazy and stoped, for the most part we talked about jthm but i got some inside stuff on zim, most of the stuff is findable on wiki though. but if you have any questions PM me.
