The demon had finally, after much searching and hunting and question asking, found a place where the little floating children came from. Well at least a building where there were people who knew where they had come from were. She hadnt gotten to ask anyone who worked there about them but at least it ment that, hopefully, she could find someone who knew more about the little black cloud that followed her around.
Hatter was at the moment sitting on the fountain outside the Headquarters watching Andulvar hide under whatever he could find that would keep him out of the sun. After his little stunt with the coffee mugs she figured he deserved to be ticked off.
Andulvar didnt find it at all amusing. Hatter had brought him out when the sun was just at the right place that every time he found somewhere to hide from the sun it moved and he had to look for another hiding place. Finally giving up he floated himself over to the demon and hid in her shadow

(( Is there anything visably different about Hatter that Kay would notice. She's just a human. ))
The same could be said of Kay. It wasn't easy finding out much about the little child who'd emerged from her rock. So far she'd only bumped briefly into a guy with a rock similar to her's and then Caroline. She'd been more helpful and her brown-haired Seraphii was very nice. It also gave her some idea of what to expect of Watt.
And already the little spark had grown and begun talking. Just like a miniature child.... with wings... who rode on a cloud.... and gave off electric shocks when he wants to. sweatdrop
Anyway, they'd made it. This large old fashioned building was supposed to be the 'Headquarters'. Kay wondered for a moment if she'd gotten herself involved in some secret cult or undercover agency. Perhaps she better ask that guy sitting by the fountain.
Walking up she gave a vague wave. "Hey... you the headquarter master or something? Sorry if I don't know the secret handshake."
Watt was right behind her, buzzing around on his cloud like some odd glow-bug. He was making the buzzing aeroplane noise himself though and flared out his arms and wings as he made circles around her head when she stopped to talk to the stranger. It was only after a couple of laps that he realised Hatter was even there, but he didn't see baby Andulvar hidden as he was in the demon's shadow.
"Wheee! Headquarter master? What's that?"

((Yea XD. Hatter as horns and a tail Head shot of Hatter Other than that she looks normal.))
The demon had been about to get up and drag Andulvar away from his 'nap' to see if she could find someone around the place. Even if no one was around now she was bound to run into them eventually if she stayed long enough. Maybe if she was lucky she could find a snack along the way too.
She looked up when someone spoke. She hadnt seem anyone walk up nor had she heard them. "Headquarter ....master?" She blinked. Oh, She must have been mistaken for someone who worked here. "Umm no. Actually i am just here hoping someone can answer my questions."
She looked at the little blond. "OH! you have one too." She twisted around and scooped up the cloud holding her baby. "Do you know anything about them? I mean...other than the obvious they pop out of rocks thing."Andulvar complained about being shifted into the light and huffed as he rolled over into the fluffy thing he floated on. Why did he have to move? He had been comfortable.

(( Oh awsome! As for Kay's looks - pretty much like the avatar, minus the bunny ears. ))
"So you're looking for answers too huh?" Kay scratched her head, vaguely wondering if the girl's horns were real. They looked pretty realistic. But she failed to notice the tail yet since Hatter was seated. "Huh? Oh, yeah I have a Seraphii, but I'm afraid I haven't found out much. Only a little... yeah, they come from rocks, that's the first point. Although I worked that out on my own when he made his entrance and all my lightbulbs burst." Kay rolled her eyes to the side briefly.
"And there's others out there. I met one called Farrah who was older. Brown hair, green wings. And this guy I bumped into had a rock too. It was leaking some sort of mist or fog." She shrugged. "They mentioned a 'Lena' who apparently knows more abut them, and a place where others often met up. Which is here presumably..." She looked around at the otherwise deserted courtyard.
"Anyway, I don't even know your name yet? I'm Kay. And this here is Watt. See if you can guess why." (Watt was clapping to himself in delight and tiny sparks jumped from his hands as he hit them together.)
She now peered closer to see the other girl's own Seraphii. "And who's this? Like his wings."
"Not Headquarter Master? Oooo.... can I be headquarter master?!?" He squeaked, zooming up on his cloud. He turned to peer at Hatter and when she produced the baby Seraphii he gave a yelp of delight and flew his cloud in closer.
"Hello hello!" He called happily and clapped his hands, making small sparks fly. When he noticed the effect he was having he stopped and chuckled to himself. Seemed like he was still finding out his own powers.

"I guess i am looking for answers." It wasnt really answers, more information. Hatter shifted slightly so it didnt hurt her neck to look up at Kay, her tail swished down into the water behing her, and smiled. "Mostly i just want to know if there is anything special i should know about him." She nodded her head in the direction of Andulvar. "Like, if i should expect something weird to happen, other than a kid popping out of a rock"
"I met a few other people with babies, and one guy with a rock. Though they didnt know any more than me." She paused for a moment. "Actually, the one girl knew less than me." Then again the demon only knew what she did because it seemed that her guesses had been correct.
"I'm Hatter." She nodded her head. "And this," She looked at the baby. "Is Andulvar. I'm afraid he isnt all that friendly."
Andulvar ignored the demon and the other girl. Once again he was stuck somewhere he didnt want to be and he wasnt pleased.
Noticing the presence of the other Seraphii he rolled over in his cloud. His eyes just bearly opened, not enough for anyone to see that they were but enough for him to see out. Light and happy. Useless. Hunkering down in his cloud he draped his wings over the clouds and proceded to ignore Watt

Kay noticed the swish of water and spotted the girl's tail. Her eyes stared for a moment and she couldn't find her tongue. Or was it that she was ready to blurt out 'is that a tail?' and only by keeping her mouth shut did she not sound so rude. Not that she hated other species.... but she just wasn't used to bumping into them very frequently. They tended to make her wonder and try not to stare, kinda like if spotted someone who was especially tall or had some other unusual feature.
At last she managed a nod and commented, not unkindly. "And looks like he's got a tail like your's." Could it be coincidence? Did the Seraphii's get affected by their owners while still in their rocks? Well... she was alot more laid back that Watt, but they did share a liking for electronic equipment and flashing lights (in her case it was the flash involved in photography, in Watt's it was just anything with an electrical pulse).
"Oh? How many did you meet? What were they like? But if they don't know much either then I guess we're on our own. Hmmm.... in that case we might have to conduct our own experiments." She mused, half to herself. "I already know Watt has an affilliation with electricity. I wonder what Andulvar likes?" She stooped to look at him plaintively ignoring Watt.
The little lightning Seraphii wasn't going to be put off that easily. He was too curious to be ignored! With a tiny frown he floaed his cloud closer until it bumpped into Andulvar's.
"Is he sick?" He asked Hatter and then proceeded to get some reaction out of the nocturne Seraphii. He poked him carefully, but unfortunatly he'd forgotten to charge down the static that was still lingering on his hands from his 'lightning' claps before.

"Yea...thought that was kind of funny." Her tail swished behind her. "It's kind of cute that he has one too. That way even though he isnt my kid he still looks like part of the family."
"I think i met two....they were fighting, the babies that is. Their, parents, were asking me questions. I think they though i knew something they didnt." She laughed a little sheepishly. "Andulvar likes... night i think. At least i found the stone in the middle of the night, and he likes being where it is dark, and he loves the moonlight sonata."
"No, he's just young and....and he dosent really like people." She looked at Watt. "Careful...!" her warning came to late to help Andulvar though
He was completely prepaired to ignore the blond seraphii, at least that was until he was rather rudely shocked. Flailing slightly and squaking out an slightly pained complaint.
Huffing and trying not to sniffle he darted over to Hatter and hid against her side. She should do something about that. That has hurt and it wasnt nice and he demanded that whoever that was be punished.

Yeah, it is cute." Kay agreed. The pair did look like they could be related, if not for the huge difference in size. "And I see what you mean. Maybe that'd help him like you more if you say he doesn't like others much?" Or maybe he just really didn't like others. Although if the only other Seraphii he'd met were fighting then Kay couldn't really blame him. What a first impression of your own species...
"But he does like the night and being in the dark huh? Well.... maybe he's a sort of umm bat? Although that tail makes him look kinda demonic." She shrugged. "I guess it's hard to tell their personality when they're so young."
Kay could see he was determined not to pay any attention whatsoever to Watt and was a little surprised when Hatter called to Watt to be careful. Maybe Andulvar didn't like being touched either? It was only when she heard him cry out and jump that she realised what had happened.
The physical touch itself was hardly forceful enough to be painful, but the static shock needed only slight contact to jump across to the other being. When the nocturne seraphii flailed Watt jumped in surprise to the reaction too. He was grinning though, unlike Andulvar.
"Heehee, oops! Sorry!" He chirped, not concerned until the adults spoke to him and he spotted the little baby looking upset. His quick and upbeat tone turned sadder. "Rrreally sorrry...." He insisted.
"Watt! Watch you're doing. You shocked him." She told her own adopted child and quickly scooped him back up in her hands before he could do anything else. "I've told you to be careful with your lightning. And he's only little, you could have hurt him."
At which point she looked back to Hatter, worried. "Is he ok? I'm really sorry about that. I don't think it was on purpose... but I should have been watching closer." She was concerned that because the baby seraphii was so small it might do alot greater damage to him than Watt's shocks usually did to her.
Watt wriggled in Kay's hands, trying to get out and see. He was almost empted to try shocking her too but though he'd better not after what had happened. At last he got his head and hands free and pulled his upper body out of Kay's grasp so he could look at what was happening. "Andulvar ok?"

She picked him up as he floated over to her so she could look him over. There was a little red mark where the static had hit him but nothing serious. "He seems to be alright other than the suprise." She checked the rest of him over carefully. His little heart worked and he was breathing so it couldnt be that bad.
As soon as Hatter let go of his arm he pulled it against him and curled up back into his cloud. That had been unfair. He just didnt want to pay attention to anyone, that wasnt any reason to hurt anyone one, was it?
The blue markings on his appendages started to flicker slightly as he settled himself into his cloud.
"You have to be careful when you touch little ones Watt. It didint hurt him this time but if your charge had been stronger it might have." She looked at the little blond Seraphii. She didnt look angry, she just wanted him to know that he could have hurt Andulvar.
She reached out and patted him lightly on the head, if she got shocked she'd be alright. "No worries, just be careful around ones smaller than you"

(( I'm sooo sorry about the lateness. ^_^;; ))
Kay watched silently, hoping all was ok with the other tiny being. Of course she wanted Andulvar to be ok for his own well-being but she also really didn't want to cause upset with someone who could possibly help her out with learning about the Seraphii. And for a split second she wondered if charges could be laid if serious harm was caused to an unknown species? Hmm... probably even more so.
Though her concerns were laid to rest as Hatter's inspection over her charge turned up nothing serious. She breathed an audible sigh of relief. "Oh that's good to hear. I'd hate for your first impression to be one of us electrocuting your child." She said, standing up straight again. "I'm going to have to get that boy an earth-cable or something..."
Fortunatly for Hatter the small charge Watt had accumulated before was all dissipated now so there was no shock when she patted his blonde locks. He lowered his head slightly, being so small and her hand quite large in comparision, and wrapped his own arms around himself when she told him to be careful when touching others.
"Okay." he replied, his wings flitting behind him for it was hard to remain completely still with all his energy. And his excitement was begining to return too, even after his warning.
Peering over at Andulvar, he bounced up an down on his cloud but didn't come any closer and still kept his hands tucked away under his armpits. "Sorry Andu!" He called out his appology and looked hopefully for a response before turning to Hatter again. "Is he always going to small? Maybe if he got bigger it'd be ok to play? We could have races! Or play games, like snakes and ladders or checkers or..." He continued to ramble, his wingers fluttering much more now with returned enthusiasm.

((S'ok XD .. just have to be quicker next time so i can post the Rp in Andu's journal so he can grow. Cause then he could actually respond to watt himself))
The demon got her, her tail splashing in the water, and waited for Andulvar to notice she had moved. She as glad that that electricity from the little blond hadnt hurt her little one. That would have been horrible.
Thankfully the dark little boy seemed to be made of tougher stuff than he seemed. "No harm no foul." She chuckled. "He should learn to controll the electricity as he grows, so you just have to keep an eye on him until then."
She looked back at her own little one. He had yet to do anything that could resemble a 'power' and maybe that was good. Looking back at Watt she smiled. "Maybe if i can get him to like people more he can come play with you."
She should probably take him home. It was getting late and he was going to get bratty...er...if she kept him out too long.
Once Hatter had moved he stayed where he was for a few moments then though better of it. Not being beside the demon ment that the one who had hurt him could get at him again.
Scooting his cloud back toward the demon he hoverd just over her shoulder. She could keep people away from him up there and he could stay mostly out of the stupid sun.

"Yeah tell me about it." Kay muttered, though not unkindly. "They say you must keep kids away from electrical sockets and cables but that seems to be Watt's number one interest!" She shook her head slightly and then noticed Hatter moving. She probably wanted to head off before any more damage was done.
Sticking out her hand, Kay made her goodbyes. "Well, I'd like to meet up with you again, and maybe then Andu won't be so err.... tired and might like to play." She didn't want to say 'antisocial'. "But we best get going. My neighbour's probably had enough of the twins..." She mused on now more to herself. "I said I wouldn't be longer than a couple of hours."
Refocusing on the situation at hand she nodded to Watt. "Say your goodbyes Watt. See ya Hatter, Andulvar."
"Oh yes! I'm going to practice lots and lots and lots and..." Watt chirped then stopped, blinked and chuckled to himself. "Until I'm good anyway! Then I won't shock anyone again."
Seeing as Kay said it was time to go, he manovered his cloud after her, waving back at the pair of 'demons'. "Bye bye! Hope you like people soon!"
(( Perhaps we should wrap this one up. I've been so busy lately I'm not going to be able to post on anything like a regular timetable until Sept. sad So sorry. But by then Adu would have grown ic. So it could get more interesting between the pair rather than just their caretakers. ))

((*snugs* we'll have to play again once you get settled))
"Yea, i should get back to my own little ones and get him home before he does something, well, weird." If the little ones had powers she wondered what he would be able to do. It wasnt a comforting though. Not if his powers were of Darkness like hers.
"I hope to see you again" She waved as Kay walked off.
Andulvar just floated beside the demon's shoulder as she got up off the fountian and headed off back toward her own home. What used did he have for people, expically ones that hurt.
