Walking in through the front foor you entered the lobby, which was a simple hallway with an elevator, a back door that led towards the east yard and beach, and door that lead towards the stairs at the far end of the room. As you enter, on the left side of the door was a wall of locker like mail boxes with the numbers of the apartments, though only taking up half the wall there was something about that, that gave you a feeling despite the so few mailboxes that were available... If you looked for it you could find any mailbox for any apartment on the second floor. How strange...
Towards your right was a thin, but long table pressed against the wall with a open booklet with the words "Guest Log" on the top of every page and a large potted plant beside it in white planter. On the wall was a corkboard bulletin board with many notes and reminders.
The walls were painted a soft baby blue, the rug was a darker shade with a white trim, the doors were also white and clearly labeled. Besides the elevator and doors at the end of the small hallway, there was one door on each wall. The door on the left wall was labeled "Rec Room", whislt on the right was "Laundry Room".
