We realize there are quite a few rules* down there, but they're there for a reason.
Unfortunately some people really do need to be told those things.
We've made these rules so that *hopefully* everyone in the guild can have a good, fun time. 3nodding

General Rules
These rules apply to everyone, Mods and Huggers too.
 1. No fighting, no flaming and/or being excessively rude to others. No killing, attacking, or torturing of the kittens. No violence of any kind(We understand whaps and things but don't do anything that would cause a person to bleed, please). If someone offends you PM Smoothie/Panda/Paper or a Mod. Play NICE! 3nodding
[This includes making rude comments and sideways attitudes. Take a lesson from Thumper's mom here, "If you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all." If you have a problem with a rule, PM a captain to have it explained to you.]2. You can bump a thread if it's yours or if it needs to be seen and it fell off the front page. If a thread says "no bumping" in that person's thread please, don't bump it. Talking on a thread is fine. But don't respond to very old threads(more than a few weeks old).
[Keep it on topic! Random idle chatter is okay if that is specified as the type of thread in the first post, but if you stray too far off topic, we'll start deleting posts that aren't relevant or lock/delete the thread completely.]3. If you find a conflict/fight do not add yourself into the situation. If they attack you, please do not attack them back(it's what they want. sad ). If a mod see's this the mod will handle it. If it really needs a attention please contact Smoothie/Panda/Paper or a Mod. For more clarification on this please see below. 4. No Bumping threads(threads solely for the purpose of saying "bump"). Except in threads designated for that purpose by a mod or captain.
You can now make bump threads inPandas Poll Palace subforum.5. You have a Quest, need gold? GREAT. Please only post them in the Pandas Poll Palace subforum. No begging, we'll help you if we can. Feel free to talk about your quests or what your questing if it's a topic of conversation. Don't randomly mention it. 6. Do not make hate/negative threads that go towards a specific person.
[This also goes for making negative comments in a fan thread. Don't do it! If you don't like the subject matter, don't post in that thread. If you are offended by subject matter or it is breaking TOS, Rules and Guidelines or Guild Rules, report it to Captains and Crew. Teasing is Flaming's ugly cousin.]7. NO Posting of links or other media that could be offensive to the eyes or ears of anyone under 18. (If you wish to post a picture or link to something please ask Smoothie/Panda/Paper first to have it okayed; otherwise all links and pictures we find unwanted we will delete.)8. Please keep it PG-13 and under! If you find someone in the hug guild you'd like to be "mature" with, use PM's to talk to them please!9. If you have a problem with a mod feel free to express your concerns with the Captain and/or Co-Captains and tell us what he/she is doing wrong. [+]Members if you have trouble with anything your only option isn't just contacting Smoothie or Paper; we're not around all the time.
If you can, be patient and wait until you find us online to tell us. But if I'm we're available soon enough, or you can't find us, please feel free to contact a guild mod.
[+]Also, if you catch a mod breaking a rule please notify Smoothie, Panda or Paper immediately. 10. Smoothie, Panda and Paper have the right to delete any post or thread for any reason, if your post and or thread is deleted DO NOT post it again. If you want to know why it has been deleted or have concerns as to why it has been contact us for a detailed answer. You're allowed one appeal of the thread or post but if still denied DON'T ask again. We probably still love ya, but not that particular post. =)11. If you want to host an event(i.e contests) you will have to ask Smoothie, Panda or Paper's permission. 12. You will be allowed 3 warnings for breaking the rules. After 3 you will have one final chance.
[This rule applies for the first 30 days of guild membership. After you have been with the guild for 30 days it is your RESPONSIBILITY to know the rules and follow them.]
If a member who's status is older then 30 day probationary period fails to follow the rules they will likely be banned or reminded VERY STRONGLY of the rules.
If a mule of a member is caught breaking the rules and the member is older then 30 days the member and all known mules will be banned. Even if the mule has been a member for less then 30 days.If the offence is serious or breaking the ToS; you will be banned immediately.13. NEW: Do NOT delete posts. If you feel you need a post deleted, contact a Captain. Members caught deleting posts without expressed permission or Captain assistance will be banned.
We can add to and change the rules as needed.

Official Hugger Rules
1. Give hugs to all new members(or as many as you can).2. Be friendly to all members. We realize this may be a difficult task but if a member is especially difficult just hug them and walk away. 3. Try to be helpful and/or supportive to people who are in need of emotional support. =) 4. If you can, hug each person as you come along them. As they enter a thread or the first time you see them that day. =) 5. Keep it PG-13 please! Yes everyone loves PDA's(Public Displays of Affection) but remember, there are others in the thread, before getting too hot and heavy. Think of the children! gonk

Mod Rules
If (a) certain thread(s) has/have created conflict within the guild and/or it's members/mods please DO NOT DELETE THEM.
If you do and Smoothie or Paper find out you will be reprimanded along with any other persons involved. (At the most edit the font color to white and note that no one should qoute it.)
EDIT: You may also move a whole thread to the Captains and Crew Sub Forum if it is in question, so that Captains may go over it later.We need to read what happens so we know who we can, and can not, trust.If you see a conflict going on do not step in and cause larger issues by taking a side, defending the member or (other) mod. Please stay out of it. If you get involved you may cause yourself to get in trouble with other people and/or Smoothie and Paper.
If you feel you must act, please do your best to calm the circumstances without being one-sided/harsh or rude. The same applies to all other members! Sometimes adding more to a bad mix will just make it worse. Mods if you see hate/negative threads about a specific person please notify Smoothie and/or Paper ASAP! Also, if the thread/post gets deleted please notify me. Mods: Do not abuse your power; you do not make a thread and then delete it only so that you wont get in trouble. Some of you may find it necessary to do that, please don't. If you explain yourself we'll do our best to understand and forgive you.This is all to avoid conflict between small groups of members/mods and keep fusses from becoming bigger conflicts. Thank You.
