the war for genetic independance came and went as the alterd fought humans and won. humans are now extinct leaving only their alterd forms, also called Chimera. the Chimera rebuilt civilization after the war and now live in harmony with nature.
this peace would have continued if not for a recent archeological discovery. upon reading some notes from the now anchient lab where the alterd were created, it has been discoverd that they had actually created a reversal for the process. only a few know about this 'cure' for chimerism and they debate about releasing it to the public because war could happen again.

chimera are half human/ half other. i would say half animal but the animal half can be any mixture of differnt animals. one chimera could have the head of a snake, the tail of a rabbit and the feet/hands like bird talons. the only limit i make to making chimeras is that they must be bipedal (walking on two legs) to reflect their human origin, and the parts can only be from current real animals, no dragyn parts or dinosaur parts, and no magic.

apperance: 6 feet tall with a feline face and ears, long red-blond hair, wings of a macaw (blue and gold) on her back between the shoulders, tail of a cat, feet and hands like macaw talons. usually wears green clothing.
backround: an intern for the archeologists that found the 'cure'. got her feline parts from her mother who also has fox parts, got her bird parts from her father who also has snake parts.
cure?: she feels that it is only right to let people know that they can become human again, but she also fears that there could be fighting over who gets the cure and why they get it. perhaps before it is released the media could discuss "what if you could be human?" of course, she would never take the cure herself.
