Self-explanatory. When someone asks you a question, you answer in the form of a question.
Example
Terry: Do you like to play cards?
Sam: Why are you asking me?
Terry: You mean that's not an interest of yours?
Sam: Why are you asking me?
Terry: You mean that's not an interest of yours?
If it comes to a point where an answer cannot be formed in a question, then make a note of that and ask a new question. Try to keep it going; just saying 'Why' or something to the extent might get a little repetitive, so try to keep that limited if possible.
I shall start:
Why are porcupines spiky?
