A generic thread title if I ever saw one. Pick your top 5! Can you do it? It's tough.
This'll also serve as a general anime/manga discussion thread. Any anime/manga related discussion that doesn't fit any one series is fine in here.
Let's see...
5. Mahou Shoujo Lyrical Nanoha/As (Kind of sways between amazing and eh.)
4. Koi Kaze (An emotional rollercoaster.)
3. Kasimasi ~ Girl Meets Girl ~ (Amazing humor, amazing drama, amazingly cute shoujo-ai.)
2. Maria-sama ga Miteru/Haru (Drama at its finest.)
1. Futari wa Pretty Cure/Max Heart
(Ignore any technical aspects, it's just a personal favorite. Loveable characters, great humor, delicious shoujo-ai, and damn good martial arts in spots.)
I can never settle on these lists... 1 & 2 are probably the only ones that won't ever change.
So what have you guys watched/read recently?

It is hard trying to pick a top 5 list of anime.
Let's see....
1. Higurashi No Naku Koro Ni- Long title, good horror anime.
2. Erementar Gerad- It was hard picking this from my 1st choice since this had a better storyline while the first choice had more excitement
3. Azumanga Daioh- Favorite comedy show, what else to say?
4. D.N. Angel- A dark angel being one of the main characters while the white angel is the villain? Seems original enough to me.
5. Mahoraba- Cute, it caught my interest the whole time.

3-Tsubasa ReserVOIR CHroNicle - CLAMP
4-xxxHolic - CLAMP
5-Rurouni Kenshin - Nobuhiro Watsuki
6-Full Moon wo Sagashite - Arina Tanemura
7-Buso Renkin - Nobuhiro Watsuki

-Fushigi Yuugi
-Ayashi no Ceres
-Full Moon Wo Sagashite
-Piano
(Top four favorites for anime. I don't generally watch a lot of it...O_o)
For Manga:
-Fushigi Yuugi: Genbu Kaiden (or any other manga by Yuu Watase. XD Just started reading Absolute Boyfriend. Really, really good stuff.)
(I don't read a lot of manga, either, really...)

Lets see
5- Pretty Cure (Blame Exselser =___= Cure White heart )
4- Hellsing (A must watch O__O)
3- Bleach (Its really good even though it has some filler Hitsugaya is heart )
2- One Piece (It A anime about A strechy kicking things a** and just being A dumbass for the entire show xD yes it has fillers but there so funny you dont even care)
1 - YuYu Hakusho (Words dont describe how awesome it is)
Bleach just reccently made on my list buts it A awesome anime >w<

Oh, geez that is hard.
Lately, the best mangas for me are FMA, Koukou Debut and Good Morning Call.
Animes, Ouran Host Club, FMA, .Hack//SIGN and Bleach. ^^; Even then, I can't totally decide. pirate

Hard to decide x.x
1. Get Backers - Humor, action, and a femboy who my friends forced me to cosplay as xD
2. Chrno Crusade - I LOVED IT. The ending made me cry ;-; There were too many character deaths though. Mostly the characters I actually liked D:
3. Koisuru Tenshi Angelique - Based on a dating sim xD I don't like Ange that much though >.>
4. GateKeepers - Originally watched in the Philippines when on vacation years ago. I decided to look it up on youtube and NOSTALGIA.<3
5. Slayers - Old, but I still love it. I liked the TRY arc the best.

1. Naruto- Meh. I like it.
2. Rurouni Kenshin- Awesomeness.
3. Zoids- Only mech I like.
4. Full Metal Alchemist- Some parts I don't get but I like it. So much leather isn't healthy. >_>
5. Dragonball Z/GT- Who has not watched this?

Argh... Watching PC over again, it completely restores my faith... No matter how good any show may be, it just doesn't compare. Not in characters, or music, or story, or anything... I have a feeling a lot more people would feel that way if they'd watched it entirely. domokun
You need to finish it, Dj. Then you can tell me if I'm insane or not. xd
I'm watching Cardcaptor Sakura now and I've fallen in love pretty much instantly, but... I think it's only going to knock off 5th place. Nanoha is basically a CCS spoof more than anything.

Exselser I'm watching Cardcaptor Sakura now and I've fallen in love pretty much instantly, but... I think it's only going to knock off 5th place. Nanoha is basically a CCS spoof more than anything. I haven't watched Cardcaptors in years (six or seven years maybe?), but I remember I used to be really obsessed with that show. xd It used to be on TV in the afternoons and my sister and I would never miss it. I can't remember why I stopped watching it.... O_o

Cardcaptor Sakura had A rather poor translation.Besides that iam A huge fan
I need the final movie though but the import shop by my house is out of copies Dx
I need A really good short Anime I hear Chrono Crusade is rather good.
Oh Ive been watching S-CRY-ED latley I love it Ryho (SP?) reminds me so much of Luke xd

WATCH CHRNO CRUSADE D< NOW. The ending is so sad! -gets all teary-eyed because of stupid girly emotions-
s-CRY-ed was okay to me...I liked Kazuma more than Ryuhou =P Except for the fact he's suck a peddy for Kanami...
Mimori was annoying as hell >:B Seriously, it was her part in Rurouni Kenshin all over again...

I read more manga than watching anime. My favorite anime would be Bleach (although i havent watched it for awhile), Elfin Lied, and Disgaea. I havent watched Pretty Cure yet but after seeing some of the screenshots i think i wont like it (avoids magical girl anime like the plauge).
