There is a legend of a legendary wise man. To speak with him is to speak with the voice of time itself. He lives at the top floor of a castle. Here's the catch, the castle is guarded by numerous traps, creatures, and goodness knows what else. He waits at the top for one who can brave the castle's dangers and partake of his knowledge. Who can do it. Who has what it takes to reach the top of the Ninja Castle?
Okay, you can use the guild character you made or you can make a new one. I'll have the maps up in the next post. Have fun and good luck... you'll need it. mrgreen

My maps all turned out tiny (darn MS Paint). So I'll just have to describe them.
Floor 1: (The first floor is a safe area, no traps or dangers.)
Upon entering you see a high ceiling with rich tapestries on the walls. Before stretches a long corridor. On the left side there are several rooms, inside there is a bed (or futon, whichever you want), a desk, and a shelf with several books on various subjects. On the right is a large combat training room. Inside are several weapons to practice with and dummies that can be set up. Farther down is a storage room off to the left. Inside are other weapons, along with several scrolls. The corridor turns right after this, leading in a U to the kitchens and dining room. In the kitchen there is enough food to feed an army (or a clan of VERY hungry ninjas, your choice). The dining room is fairly large and has a fully stocked bar at one end. Inside the U is a meditation garden, with a small lake in the middle. Each room opens out to the garden and the corridor has several doors as well. At the end of the corridor is a flight of stairs leading to the second floor.
Floor 2: (The first dangerous floor)
The stairs open up to another corridor. This extends a short ways to a set of 5 doors. Behind the first door is a hall. The walls shoot out darts, farther down is a spike pit that stretches across the floor, at the end is a door. The second door leads to a room with a group of small monsters, the room also has a trap which causes a cloud of knock out gas to be released (if you get knocked out, the monsters throw you ou t of the room). The third door opens into a single stone cell, the door locks behind you and you have to find a way to escape, after a while the floor drops and you land in the garden. Door 4: A long hallway withh rotating spike wheels, buzz saws on the floor, and blades coming out of the walls. Door 5: A room with a single occupant, a large monster, get past it to move on. After these 5 doors is a booby trapped hallway (spikes, poison, and a few minor monsters) and stairs up.
Floor 3: (Another dangerous floor)
A maze takes up the entire floor. Monsters of all types roam the passages, traps are everywhere. Only a real ninja can possibly pass this. Deep in the maze lies a set of controls, these cause the maze walls to move. If you can find them you might be able to find the exit, and the stairs up.
Floor 4: (The Final Trial)
This floor is simple, a corridor leading to a single stone room. Simple right? WRONG! When you enter the door dissapears behind you. You are trapped in a stone room with no way out. Inside, you must face your inner demons, If you conquer them, the door leading out will appear and you will be allowed to move on. If you fail, you will reappear in the meditation garden's lake.
Floor 5: (The Old Man's room)
The stairs open up to another corridor, only this one is richly decorated with pictures and tapestries. Ahead is a sliding wooden door with a ying yang on it. Through there is a room with a table. On the table is a pot of tea and some food. Nearby stands the old man, he grins at you. You can ask him any question you want, but just one, then the room vanishes and you will reaapear in the entrence on the first floor. To get a second answer, you must climb again.

Vassago [prestanding character from forums] enters the first floor, he goes down the ally to the store room where he stock piles shuriken, 2 tanto's, smoke bombs, stun (flash and concusion) bombs, and High explosive [shrapnel] bombs.
He drops the shuriken (20) Kunai knives (20) into a bag strapped to his leg, and secures the pouch He then secures the 2 tanto's behind his back, buts the smoke and concusion bombs in 2 chest pouches (10 S) (10 C) and loads the explosive grenades in a satchel that he slings around his back(15E). He double's back and grabs 5 healing spells.
Next he heads to the kitchen to grab some water, bread, and meats, he loads them into his bag, and makes a quick sandwhich for himself [yum yum yum]. He runs back to the suply closet, grabs a 15 yard length of rope, and a grapple hook.
And just for the look he slashes some dazzle paints under his eyes [one black line under each eye, and a bar from temple to temple]

Vassago walks to the bar to get a bottle of 160 proof vodka, 5 medium length rags 5 empty glass bottles 1 funnel And a beer [Guiness] Vassago opens the bear, lifts it to his lips and takes a big swig
it is going to be a long day.
Vassago then goes down the hall into the bedroom, pulls out a shuriken and cuts of a length of fabric as long as a scarf, and as thick as one two

Persia walks into the castle. He watches Vasago run around. "Having fun?" He walked into the storage room and grabs a few scrolls. One summoning and two explosive ones. He also grabs a katana and several kunai. Then he grabs a few ration packs from the kitchen and heads for the stairs.

runs after ninja but stops and the foot of the stairs
*gulp*
"Here goes nothing, he says as he ascends the stairs

Vassago enters the halls and check the first door.
He is cautious, and throws the shuriken at the floor to set off the wall darts He notices that the darts do not reach all the way to the floor, so he grabs his shuriken and low crawls He inches over to the pit fall. . .
"Hmmmm lets just reach into my bag of tricks"
Vassago pulls out the grappling hook and rope, he throws the hook with such force it breaks threw the ceiling and hooks on a wooden stud
He grabs the rope, and pulls hard to tests its durability feeling safe he swings with the rope to the other side of the pit fall, almost faling in he uses one of his tantos to cut into the wall and support himself.
he unlatches the rope and hook, puts it back away, and crawls on his stomach till he reaches the door. He opens the door with a kunia knife in his hand, and once he opened the door he realized. . . The door led knowhere but a brick wall cause the guy building the map forgot that small fact.
So he back tracked his steps, and was again in the original hallway
"Door one down."
He carves an X into the door with his Tanto

Vassago walks into the second room, and trips the knock out gas. . .
He wakes up in the hallway, "Hmmm lets see" vassago pulls out the scarf he cut earlier, wets it with water and ties it over his face "Gas mask 101 kids"
He enters the room again and notices the group of small monsters "i can't use an explosive with this gas, so i'll do this the old way"
Vassago charges forward and throws a series of shuriken and kunia knives into the monsters, he flips into the air, lands behind their feet, and cuts the two remaining monsters throats. He walks around the room, to make sure the monstars are dead, and to recollect his Kunia and Shuriken
carves another X in the door and walks off

Kitoko opens the door, and sees a long hallway, with tapestries lining the walls. He walks through the hall, and sees several doors, one of which has equipment and dummies. He walks inside, looking for his weapons of choice: The Cestus, and twelve throwing stars. Finding what he was looking for, he leaves the room. He continues down the hallway, and sees a kitchen of sorts. He runs in, and raids the pantry, looking for food that will keep him filled for the daunting task of clearing this building. Reaching the end of the corridor, Kitoko faces the stairs to the second level. He takes out his Cestus', takes a deep breath, and ascends the stairs. Kit watches Vasago cleverly make his way past the first set of traps.

Prepping himself for the first room, Kit looks for where the holes that shoot the shurikens are. He sees them, and they are all low on the wall. Gaining all the energy he has, he runs past them, on the wall((ooc Prince of persia style. Hell yeah)). However, what he wasn't prepared for, was them shooting out of the ground. Attempting to take this in stride, he blocked the first one with his cestus. He was nearing the end of the wall. He wasn't so lucky with the second one. It made a deep cut into his hand. The pain unbearable, he dropped to the floor. Luckily, he was at the end of the room. He ripped off part of his clothes, and wrapped his hand. He listened to Vasago kill the monsters in the next room, and walked on. He heard the door out of the first room close behind him. "No turning back now" said Kitoko, talking to himself. He readied himself for the second room. He cautiously pushes the door open. Kitoko stands beside the door, and listens. He hears monsters inside, making the noises monsters do. Using his acute sense of sight, Kit notices a tile in the room that looks like it presses in, like a button. Assuming this could be a trap, he throws a shuriken at it. Sure enough, it triggered knockout gas. Knowing it was flammable, Kitoko used his basic knowledge of fire magic from his training to ingnite it, and ran to the passage leading to the first floor. Hearing the explosion, he ran to the door, just in time to see the fires start. Running past the burning wood, he slammed the door out of the second room behind him. He could already tell this was going to turn out to be the ride of his life. He walked up behind Vasago and said "Hey, look, this is going to be hard, and i'm sure we could both use some help. Partners?"

"Fine, just don't fall behind this one is going to be fast. First i am going to test the floor in room three, do not enter yet."
i enter room three, the door locks after about 10 minutes the floor gives way and i fall into the garden.
Ascending the stairs i see kit int he hallway
"Ok, dont ask, the floor has a ten minute trigger then it drops, the door locks, so follow me."
i pull out the rope and grappling hook, and throw it into the room of room three.
"ok, tie this rope to your belt, we need to figure out why we are in here, and what we need to do, when the floor falls do not panic. Make sure that your rope is secure on your belt."

"Okay" starts Kit "Sounds like a plan." He ties the rope around his belt. He braces himself, and looks at Vasago. "You do whatever you're going to do."

I guide Kit into the room and the door locked like before. I look around, their are no exits, no boxes, no nothing, its an empty room.
I walk forward lightly pulling on kits rope to follow
"Check the crowning and the floor boards, their has tobe something here"
after 10 minutes of searching the floor drops from below Kit and I
