Thread!What's this about you say!? It's two things really...First off it being Dr. Foxwoof means I deal with psychology! Yes! You tell me your problems and I will find you solutions! I know Chrome has her own thread like this so I asked her before I made this...Besides, Im sending you to Chrome's Cushion if I can't find an answer for you problem or if you need a second insight..."Hey! This is for your question about Foxes! Need to know anything about them you ask and I shall tell you! (lol, just being the inquisitive one here, you can make up whatever, I wanna see what you say! lol) Well...It's pretty much the same reason while most others animals have tails... Balance and to show expression! That's usally what a tail is for...There are a few others but we'll just leave it at that....:3

I have a question Mr foxwoof sir, why, in most Japanese myths, do Kitsunes have many tails? plus, are there other fox types in gaia or just standard Red Fox parts? (Ish a Fennec so this why i'm asking)

Lycanthropy is the assuming or becomeing wolf and having it's characteristics...Though, I do believe it has also means that for all species rather then just wolves now a days then it did in folklore... Now! Modern Furries! See...That difference is that when you take the assume or become the animal, you not only gain it's characteristics but you also keep the human characteristics and emotions...That's why I think some that don't know anything about the animal they assumed the role of, make it's characteristics into their own view... So yes...I think there is a link...
