To those of you that know and for those of you who do not know. Regrettably about 2 years, 4 months ago a man by the name of Glenn Quinn passed away. He played Doyle on the show Angel and had several thousand fans. Today on the reruns of Angel on TNT, the episode 'Hero' came on, where Doyle sacrifices himself to save Angel, Cordelia, and a shipload of Half-breed demons. Now, I've seen the entire series of Angel run through, minus a few episodes here and there. 'Hero' had been one of those episodes. After watching that, I cried. I haven't cried in the past 5 years and just seeing Doyle sacrifice himself like that made me think of how Glenn will never be coming back. I'm sad that Glenn is gone as I'm sure several others are. However, I decided to post this because I'd like to see how many other people are grieved by this as much as I. If you'd like you could write down a little poem or perhaps a way Glenn may have changed your life as a tribute to this great actor. If there is another thread like this, I apologize, however I still felt the need to make this thread, in honor of Glenn Quinn and his passing.

I don't really watch Angel and i have never seen season 1 sad But i did hear about Glenn Quinn and that he was a good actor. I want to see season 1 though!

I was very upset when I first hear about Glenn. And my stupid TV didn't record Hero yesterday. It's my all-time favorite Angel episode. I'm even getting teary just thinking about Glenn.

I was so sad when Doyle died. When I searched Glenn about 2 years ago on imdb and it said he was dead I was like...O_O. RIP Glenn crying . It's really sad but wasn't the 100th episode of Angel in memory of Glenn?

I saw that episode a couple weeks ago.
I cried a little bit... not as much as the first time I saw it, though.
Doyle was definitely one of my favourite characters in Angel...

Yes he was a fab actor i remeber when he played marc in roseanne and then when he was in angel i loved him and i cried so much when he died in angel

i find it hard watching "hero" its just upsetting to know he pass away. my sister refuses to watch that episode because she knows she'll cry.

I heard that they were thinking of bringing Doyle back from the dead, but the actor died. *CRIES*

He had like a brain thing and they killed hime off b/c they knew that he was going to die. its so sad. doyle was so sweet. i liked the idea of him and cordy being together.

crying Doyle was one of my favourite characters! I mean with the accent n all. It's such a shame about his drug overdose and i cried when he died in Angel and when i found out he'd died in real life i cried all over again! crying But it was nice to have his video played again in season 5 Angel 'Welcome Back' and i hate Lindsey for taking his name! evil

Right now, the number one thing I'm upset about is the cause of death. The only explanation I would take is if he forgot he had already taken the pills.
I've heard that happened alot with the old depresion pills.
