I've only read the first five in the series, so please don't reveal anything after that unless it's in white. Anyway, why do you think Fai left his world?
Here are some reasons I got out of the 1st book:
- He wanted to escape Ashura
- He wanted to run away from a war he lost
- He wanted to run away from a war he won
What do you think?

-He used a powerful spell and lost control, caussing the destruction of Seresu
-Ashura turned evil and rather than killing someone, he put him to sleep

-He had a HUGE fight with Ashura-ou, and during the fight, he put his king to sleep, and, knowing that Ashura-ou would punish him once he awoke, fled his world.
-He was tired of being Ashura-ou's boytoy...*runs and hides* ninja
-He wanted to escape the terrible memories associated with Seresu.
Crazy Crack-ish Reasons:
-'Cuz he found out that Ashura-ou was cheating on him, and in a fit of sorrow and rage, put his king to sleep and fled the country thinking, "Fine! I'll go find a loyal boyfriend who actually loves me! " emo
-'Cuz he owes Ashura-ou LOTS of money, and to escape from paying it, he put him to sleep and fled the world! xd
-'Cuz he wanted a vacation away from the snowy gloom of Seresu, and was looking forward to spending the rest of his days in nice, summery worlds, lazing around on the beach in the arms of a loyal lover. But, he ended up going to worlds of varying climates, but since he met Kuro-chan, he doesn't care where they are! As long as Kuro-mimi is there, he's happy! 4laugh

-Perhaps he got in trouble because of creating Chii or something
-Maybe Ashura is his father! (or not...)

-Perhaps, that magicians arent meant ot marry and he wanted to marry Chi and then Ashura didn't allow it!

-I'm gonna have to say that Faye wanted to do something he thought was right, but Ashura disagreed with him. Faye did it anyway, and to escape his rage, Faye put Ashura to sleep and fled to the Dimensional witch.
-Either that or it was a drug deal gone wrong stare

-He was at a rebellious age, and decided to put the first person he saw(Ashura) to sleep, and run off to other worlds in order to avoid discipline from Presea. You know how scary her punishments are.
-He decided to run away from home just to see if Ashura dearest would come running after him. But apparently, he forgot until later that Ashura would probably kill him in the process.
-While Ashura was taking a nap, he decided he was in dire need of sake. Ao he went off to Yuuko's (what better person out there to drink with?) but he changed his mind in the process of traveling through worlds. He had to find some decent sake in other worlds first. Then they could drink together.
-Sakura

-Maybe after a huge war, thousands of Seresu men were killed, and their wives are pissed ay Fai for not protecting them with his magic or something and teh plan to storm the castle and kill him.
-Or the whole kingdom hates Fai for putting their beloved King Ashura into a deep sleep, and to avoid getting overcome by a mob of peasants, he flees to Yuuko.
- Maybe he was trying out a new spell and he accidentally casts it on Ashura, putting him to sleep. To stay out of trouble, he takes a nap and then runs to Yuuko.

Well, i am pretty sure that the issue is realtede with Ashura.. hm.. how? gonk
Perhaps, that magicians arent meant ot marry and he wanted to marry Chi and then Ashura didn't allow it! (Ashura could be the Dad I agree)
But then they could have married afterwards...

I just wanna be friends! crying And, to quote the manga, Ashura-ou was either a "cruel king" or a "loving companion." Hmm...choices, choices...
