Hello and welcome new members of JaJanken: The HxH guild of gaia! We are pleased to see new members in our guild and hope you like it very much. x3 We have some great moderators that some of you might know. Right now we only have three at the moment:

I am going to be searching for MAYBE two one more moderator. If I (or other mods) see that you are a capable person who: helps new members, doesn't flame others' threads, and explains calmly wants wrong with the thread, yadayada. You get the point! I will PM you asking if you wish to be a moderator of the thread. I am not pressuring you to say yes; you may say no if you wish. It's all up to you.
I will TRY and be on everyday and be in the guild as much as possible. My mods will be the rulers of you if I am not here. Please...if a mod posts in your thread that something is amiss, read the post and do what it says. That's all I ask of you. I have made a spam thread for everyone who wants to make a little gold just by bumping or doing some sort of contest. I just have to get some gold to make sub-forums. So please be patient! It will come to pass, sooner or later. :3

(Holy crap, I've been on gaia for faaar too long.)
Likes/Dislikes: I loooove Sushi, rockclimbing, manga/anime, poking people, making a weird noise randomly when someone starts talking and so much more! / I don't like people who are too serious, football, corn, rabid fangirls, and etc.
Reason you like Hunter x Hunter: I love the story line most, how it always has some cool twist or turn, the characters aren't half-bad either. The style of art in the manga, the way they spell Kurapika's name in the manga. I hate the way in the anime. rolleyes It's so retarded that they changed it. Same with Chrollo.
Do you like the anime or manga better? Why?: Definitely the manga. The reason I like manga is because I have always been partial to mangas.

Likes: Hunter x Hunter (*coughkillua-kuncough*), FMA (*coughedo-kuncough*), drawing, writing, reading, apple cider, nilla wafers, wolves, among many other things
Dislikes: my little brother, school, getting my picture taken, normal people (actually they tend to dislike me more than I dislike them), broccolli, milk, shopping, among many, many other things
Reason you like Hunter x Hunter: HunterxHunter is one of the most addictive animes out there. How can you not like it? The characterization is amazing, the thought and creativity put into each story arc are wonderful, and ... and ... It's just great, okay!
Do you like the anime or manga better? Why?: Hmm. That's hard. I can't really choose just one. For action, fun, and adventure - definitely the manga. For characterization and just watching Gon and Killua hang out and have fun together - definitely the anime.
Yup. I can hear the "boos" from here. x33

Likes/Dislikes: I like drawing (comics especially), reading, and oranges. I dislike homework and shopping (unless it's for books).
Reason you like Hunter x Hunter: I love the characters and the story. The plot is creative, and I like to see how the characters go out of the box to defeat things or meet challenges. It's unlike any series I've ever read/seen.
Do you like the anime or manga better? Why?: I can't decide. I like both. I thought that the anime followed the manga very well, and I'll admit to liking the scenes that weren't in the manga. However, the art in the manga captivated me, and my true love for the series came from that.

Likes/Dislikes: Reading, writing, drawing, forum lurking, soccer, biking, and internet surfing are my likes. My dislikes are red meat, bees, and people who talk to much.
Reason you like Hunter x Hunter: One word: Kurapika. I bought the manga after reading his blurb in Shonen Jump's HxH preview, and he's remained my favorite character thoughout the series. He shares a lot of the same values I do. Plus, it's an over-all fun series.
Do you like the anime or manga better? Why?: Anime. The manga is really good, and being able to see the characters in action just enhances the series even more. But you know what I like even more than the anime and the manga combined? The Hunter x Hunter musicals. Now THOSE are some good entertainment.

Likes/Dislikes: I like Yuu Yuu hakusho, Hunter x Hunter, hagane no Renkinjutsushi, Fruits Basket, spiral Suiri No Kizuna, D.N.Angel, and a whole lot of other anime/manga. I also enjoy RPing, writing fan fictions, analyzing complicated situation, expanding my anime/manga collection, White roses, snowflakes, teardrops, the moon, and so much more. I dislike people who hurt others just for fun, baby-sitting my siblings, small spaces, rabid fan girls, and quite a few other things to be perfectly honest.
Reason you like Hunter x Hunter: At first the main reason why i liked Hunter x Hunter and was so drawn to it was because togashi Yoshihiro the creator of YYH created it. after reading it however the storyline and characters captivated me and i fell in love with the series. kurapika is also another reason why i adore the series, he is an awesome character and I admire how devoted he is to avenging his tribe. i also like the series because you can tell the togashi Sensei was kind of recreating the four main characters from YYH in HxH. I'm not saying they are precisely like the YYH boys, but they do have some striking similarities.
Do you like the anime or manga better? Why?: i'm not really sure... I have started reading the manga before watching the anime and i guess that holds a special place in my heart. However I kind of like how they add a bit more in the anime series... it fills in spots and gives something more for fans to enjoy. i suppose that really it is a tie with both the anime and the manga for me. ^^

Likes/Dislikes:i'm a very tolerant guy. i love anime. and i like my iaijutsu practice (and most fights in general). but i dislike those who pick on people who can't (or won't) defend themselves, fish (it smells rotten to me), and REALLY stupid people
Reason you like Hunter x Hunter: actually, my reason is very vague. it just called to me. so now it's my favorite series.
Do you like the anime or manga better? Why?: i love both, no real specific reason. i love the animation style of the series, but i love the depth of the storyline in the manga.

And I'm here!! After my untimely two week ban I have failed in my mod abilities for all three/(Um four?) of my guilds. But now the Ben have returned. Well first off the bat my name is Ben and I'm nineteen, but for some odd reason I seem to hang out with people my sister's age these days . . . oh well not much to be done except turn my brain off *click* dio;dufgiohg *click* ok that was a terrible idea. I work nights 11 PM to 6 AM so I most likely won't be on when you other guys are sadly. If you want to know about me check my profiles and my other one FollowMeToHeaven. Message me and we'll talk for a bit and if I like you I might even add you. I live in my attic as a "purple hermit" (JoJo reference no one will get). My six favorites in anime/manga are D. Grey-Man, Death Note, Hunter X Hunter, JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, Gintama, and Bleach, but I've read more than most people ever should.
I read the whole Hunter X Hunter manga and I've started on the anime out of boredom. It's a wonderful thing and Hisoka gives me nightmares, but Kurapika gives me happy dreams. I suppose I'll get to giving my standard SUPER!!! update to this guild now. You can expect, a picture post, a cosplay post, a interesting thread, a sticky for each arc, and a subforum for general disscussion, as well as me going on an invite crusade. (This is mostly just so I can make a checklist lol). I appreciate all cuddling buddies. Love is always welcome, but I have to cut it at that. Just warning now I have a significant other and all, but I do cuddle.

Heh. Yeah... Anyways, welcome back. Did'ja enjoy your two weeks of "real life?" ^^ Well, don't feel bad. You have not failed us. Just think of it as you've been on paid leave. Now, you'll just have less vacation time when you want it. x3

I couldn't sleep so I did the invite crusade already. I invited everyone who ever posted in your HXH thread on the manga forum. Now I just have to check through my friends list to finish the crusade.
On another note I'll also be compiling a thread with all the information on different Hunter X Hunter games and where you can get them.
