I guess it was Old Boy, my third time seeing it. Still difficult to watch towards the end.

I will eventually get around to watching Infernal Affairs 2 and I'm waiting for 2002 to come in the mail. 2002 is a movie with the same lead cast for Gen-X Cops: Nicholas Tse, Stephen Fung, and Sam Lee. Whether it's as enjoyable is yet to be seen. But at least I can entertain myself with the pretty faces.

I can't remember what the last foreign film I saw actually was, because I've been watching alot of them lately, but one that really struck me as odd was Tie me up! Tie me down! It was Spainish, I believe mexican, but I'm not sure. It stared Antonio Bandaras, and if anyone is familiar with the book The Collector by John Fowles, it reminded me alot of the whole Fred/Miranda thing.

I watched Fulltime Killer (Hong Kong) for the 2nd time with a friend the other night. o.< Some things about that movie still confuse me though.

What parts were confusing to you?

I really liked this movie and I hope that Takashi Sorimachi does more films. He seems to be out of the spotlight now that he's a father.

Oh yeah, that was a great film. I love the opening and the scenes where they are just stand in the grass listening to the music. I want to do that one day. It looks very calm and relaxing.

I think I've heard the first three Kyokou songs. So far, so good.

I watched Tomie a few days ago and didn't like it too much. I might still rent Tomie: Rebirth, though, just for the hell of it.

That's my favorite movie ever! surprised There's so much I like about it that I don't know where to start... the scene with the kites, the Okinawa home movie scenes, the grass scenes... there's just so much to digest. No movie has ever had a greater impact than this movie had when I first watched it.

Both the Kokyu album (by Lily Chou-Chou) and the movie's score (called Arabesque) are really great.

I promised myself I would watch Electric Dragon 80,000V in the next few days.

Wow, so there really is a Lily Chou Chou. Did not know that.

I like the part where the guy runs by and steals the money from the kids. Then he starts jumping on the cars. Didn't look like no stunt person, either.

Yeah, that part was great.

Well, there isn't really a Lily Chou-Chou. It's ... complicated. Apparently Shunji Iwai had this singer Salyu release a bunch of songs under the name Lily Chou-Chou and started a message board and got fans and stuff. Most of the forum posts that appear in the movie were taken from that message board and some plot events were influenced by it.
