Sakura Matsuri 2006

At the end of April, the Brooklyn Botanic Garden held the 25th annual Sakura Matsuri (Cherry Blossom) Festival, which I was lucky enough to attend. My father finally sent me the pictures, over two months later. gonk

So, since I am rather bored, I will share some with you. Even though no one ever comes here anymore. stare

Here we go!

Next, here are some pictures of the garden itself. These include Japanese plants and flowers, a Japanese style koi pond and a small recreation of a Shinto Shrine.

And next, the performances. The pictures I got of them are rather bad because of where I was standing. There was no room at all in the front of the stage, all day long. So I was to the sides of the stage for all of the performances, resulting in not-so-great shots.

P.S.: A lot of the pictures came out crappy and discolored because of photobucket. stressed I don't know why it happened or how to fix it, but whatever. talk2hand

The little girls in the kimonos were so cute. <333
