What is the best way to raise your marksman skill?

Good old new subforums.
That made almost no sense.
As stupid or insulting as this may sound, firing your bow at enemies.

I"ve never worried about marksman so I don't know unless you found a marksman trainer (unlikely I've never seen one)or what Pious said shooting arrows at a target or enemies

the stupid way is just find a important charecter that you cant kill and just shoot them ever time they get up! Most of the time you can get into a kings room after you kill the gaurd at his door. then you can keep hitting him without having any gaurds caoming after you! just dont let him leave into the hall!

Guards never run...they will fight you until the death and after that take their stuff and sell it then go into the count/countess room and steal the stuff and if you have to kill the count/countess or both to cover yourself in a fuzzy blanket lol

I sat on a house in the imperial city and shot all the guards, it went up pretty quickly, i did that in the wilderness too, lured some wolves and ogres my way then jumped onto a high rock which they could'nt reach and shot them. There was one time when i did that and a bear went inside the rock 0.o very strange xd

Peoples, I hope you do realise that you can just fire arrows randomly now and you gain marksman skill, so find a hay target and fire ten or so arrows ino it, pick them back up, wash, rinse, repeat. simple.

greflon Peoples, I hope you do realise that you can just fire arrows randomly now and you gain marksman skill, so find a hay target and fire ten or so arrows ino it, pick them back up, wash, rinse, repeat. simple. Umm, when did you hear that? I just shoot the guard in the beginning of the tutorial. He has to "watch the emporer".

Or if you did all the dark brotherhood quest go and shoot arquen her dagger is iron and wont do much damage you dont get kicked out of the guild and no bounty.

Dont try to raise skills just to have them high! Let them rise naturally, as you progress through the game! If you're worried about having a low Marksman skill becuase you dont use it as often as youre other skills, find a trainer!
